Also, Carle was really good, right until he sucked.

They look like a team that is poorly coached.

A lot of holes in our game.

I want him to be good as much as anyone else, but that's the second time in 3 days he's blown a 2 goal lead. It's inexcusable, and it's pretty clear that constantly trotting him out there is not the way to restore his confidence.

That said, the defense needs some SERIOUS work as well.

People fell into the trap of thinking this team was capable of winning the Stanley Cup this year, and then continued to do so after they lost Pronger.

Not a criticism of the team/organization per se, just pointing out that took many people took the kool-aid again. People want to question the coach in a year where we punted in June.

Bryz is just like Vick on the Eagles, the elephant in the room that some people have a hard time understanding. Garbage is garbage.

And double-touche.

Defense was awful, but bryz was yet again outplayed by the other goalie. Anderson made more huge saves. Although bryz did have a few as well

Of course all my posts are about him. He's a horrible part of a very good team. Why use an internet discussion board for something positive? Sheesh

Good game.

Surprised your top line didn't make as much noise as I expected.

Carle is terrible
Lilja shouldn't even be in the NHL
Bourdon is clearly not ready for the NHL

Not going to get far with those anchors, Bryz hasn't been great but **** can't blame him entirely when he has to deal with those guys in front of him

Trade your 2 best defensive forwards, and replace them with rookies, you get this.

I, and others, have said in October and November, expect games like this.

I think the main reason we lost today, was because we lost our legs in the third and Ottawa still had theirs. They just outplayed us pure and simple.

When you score four goals, there's really no way you should lose a game, especially with a $51mm goalie in the net.

Yeah they sucked.

And I really hope they make a move for a defender. They really need it.

Yes, this.

MAB and other rookies making mistakes, though, I don't mind. They have to learn. MAB has looked shaky the last two games, but he's also shown flashes of potential.

What bothers me is watching veteran guys constantly turn over the puck and do bad things.

bryz doesn't cause turnovers. how many where there like 25? kimmo and coburn need help back there and homer should start talking to some gm's and get us a great 2nd line defenseman. bourdon is going to be a solid dman one day and lilja would be good if he was on a line with a really great talent, unfortanatly we don't have a lot of them to go around.

The two games against you may have been the worst they played all year! Giroux looked a shadow of himself the last 2 days.

Bryz is way down on who to blame this game, defense and Roo's line gets most of it, absolutely sucked in every aspect of the game. If the team insists on playing Lilja and an AHL dman (MAB or Gus), this **** will still happen.

Schedule is pretty soft coming up, but we have to trade for a Dman.

everyone played poorly this game minus a select few.

Voracek had another strong game, so did coots. Kimmo was kimmo, and mez had a good showing.

Everyone else screwed up something big at one point or another. Bryz had a really strong two periods, but seemingly got rattled after that Carle deflection.

Good two games, guys. Flyers looked dangerous every second they spent in the offensive zone.

Bryz has not been his best, but this game is the perfect illustration what what is wrong.

We are literally a mess and unorganized in our own zone. When you watch the rangers they do a good job of Narrowing the goal and Lundqvist gets great views of shots on goals. When he gives up a rebound a ranger there is clear the front of the net or move the puck to the wall.

I dont know if its coaching or lack of talent by our D men but it seems like everyone plays to the beat of their own drum and not as a unit.

These games are the same way we lost last year. We can score 4 goals a game and we can give up 4 goals a game. that is our M. O.
