Can't believe I'm saying this....

but Bryz deserves the start tomorrow. Starting Bob and breaking whatever momentum Bryz has built with these two W's would be a mistake.

I can go on about the negatives and my concerns if you'd really like.

Yea, I would throw this in the stolen game category. So many bad turnovers.

I think all Flyers fans should be happy when any player has a great game....Bryz was very sharp today, and deserves credit.

I can't imagine any fan not being happy that one of the Flyers played well.

I think we ALL want bryz to be amazing...

I'm officially done with Bryz. His best is merely ok and when do we ever see that? Every game sees four past him and at least one being very weak. I'm tired of it and his self-critical clown act. Do your damn talking on the ice.

Defense was putrid. Karlsson's goal was Leighton-esque though. Reminded me of Lucic's Goal in Game 7

I really don't understand how yesterday's win falls into a "stolen game" category. He may have made one or two saves that were excellent, but everything else should have been stopped -- and he did -- turnovers or not. Has he gotten this bad that we credit him stolen games for just being a reputable goalie?

I think so.

I genuinely don't think there's a single goalie in the NHL I wouldn't trade him for. I'm terrified by 8 more years of this.

While the last two goals were stoppable, the amount of turnovers in our own defensive zone was alarming.

Not defending bryz, he has played like crap all season (well with the exception of the last game).

He was responsible for 2 goals today. The defense sucked but on that 3 on 1, all he had to do was play the shooter and he totally gave up. I don't know if it's confidence or lack of ability or lack of understanding the system Lavi has them playing but enough already. He was paid to be the saviour, he accepted the contract, he needs to improve drastically!

So, here's what annoys me about Bryz:

This offseason we traded away a LOT. We have 5-6, maybe even 7 rookies on the ice on any given night depending on injuries. I knew there was going to be a LOT of growing pains beforehand; However, Bryz was supposed to be able to cover for that and keep the team in games.

He just hasn't done that a whole lot. By my count, an Islanders game and yesterday's game. That's it, and that's frustrating as hell.

If the Flyers have a defensive collapse, you can almost detect a subtle, visible tantrum from Bryzgalov... as if he shrinks away from the play.

what's worse is that the rookies are actually performing better than expected

even an average goalie would have us at the top of the league right now

That's why I'm frustrated. We CAN'T rely on rookies to pull this much weight for an entire season. It's extremely likely the bottom will eventually fall out.
