Don't know about that but the Ducks have scored as many goals in this one game than the Kings have in their past five games, and it's still early in the third.

Schenn got robbed by Anderson, nice setup by Simmonds though, those two make a good pair.

Karlsson is having one hell of a season so far, 41 points in 43 games.

That's the type of production Drew Doughty needs to be putting up (at 7m per).

I doubt it continues to next season.

I agree he needs to be putting up more, but I don't put any more pressure than I do on the rest of the team. I have no reason to call just him out.

Arniel (Columbus) fired after the loss to Anaheim. Assistant Todd Richards will finish the season.

Alain Vigneult needs to shut his ****ing face already.

""Marchand -- this is just my feeling on this -- some day he's going to get it. Somebody is going to say enough is enough and they're going to hurt the kid, because he plays to hurt players and in my mind if the league doesn't take care of it, somebody else will."
Gee, that's a real wise thing to say in the media...

Love Juliens response. I don't agree it was self defense but I love his comment about hypocrisy at the end.

Quote:
"I think it's pretty hypocritical, everything that's been going on. It's unfortunate because, you know, sometimes you gotta look in your backyard. We all know that [Vigneault's] got the same type of players on his team and they've all done the same thing. You just have to look at Burrows putting his blade in Thornton's throat. It's so hypocritical. It's unfortunate. I guess we're stupid, we're idiots, they're the smartest team in the league."

Sounds like the mentality of every canucks fan out there, we're innocent, you are worse, and we are better....

At cap hits of $6.8M and $7M respectively, there is every reason to call out Kopitar and Doughty. If these two aren't going to be the straws that stir the drink what good are they?

That's not what I'm saying

Of course I'm telling Doughty to start playing better. Just like I would Kopitar. But, I'm calling out the whole team. It's different if just Doughty wasn't playing up to par.

The performance of those two on the PP is a BIG reason for the Kings' struggling this season. With great rewards comes great responsibility.

I understand that, but when you have guys like Stoll, Penner, Williams and even Johnson under performing it's hard to ignore them.

It starts with Kopitar and Doughty. Doughty is going to have a his rough times. Kopitar for whatever reason seems to go through a slump every season and then he gets out of it. Not sure if it's worse this season. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm not worried about Drew. That doesn't mean he shouldn't be playing better though.

Florida beats Vancouver 2-1 in regulation.

Florida and Ottawa are the biggest surprises of the year.
