Yogan was 2-2-4 tonight and is now at 39 pts in 37 games. (Um, have I mentioned that I feel strongly that we should sign him to an ELC?)

Meanwhile, Thomas continues to pick it up after a slow start. 1-2-3 with about 3 minutes to go in his game.

Does anyone know if Johnny Gaudreau played at Gloucester Catholic before BC?

My friend just told me that. There was a kid that would give us fits my junior/senior year in highschool when we played them. Super small, not fast at all, but always found a way to dodge checks. Unbelievable, but he was only 5'5" or so back then, so I'm not sure if it was him.

God he was tough to play against. Small and slow, but dodged every hit, always made the right plays.

We always crushed Gloucester though.

Steven Fogarty is Ranger prospect that is flying under the radar. He won't be ready for a few years, but, if he develops to his fullest potential, he's going to be quite the steal for a 3rd round pick. I loved adding Miller and Fogarty in this draft...really added depth at the center position.

The Rangers had Fogarty rated as a late 1st rounder. They liked Fogarty better than most teams.

Not sure if you saw what I posted just the other day, but Dan Sallows agrees with you...

So far the native of Edina, Minnesota has been a force in his rookie BCHL season, racking up 16 goals, 23 assists, and 16 penalty minutes in 32 games for the Penticton Vees. Those totals sit the 18-year-old 10th overall in league scoring...

He can simply terrorize opponents when he is on his game, with his size, speed, vision and hockey IQ. Fogarty has a good shot, with a quick release, decent hands, and works hard at both ends of the rink. He reminds me a little of the Blue Jackets Jeff Carter with the intangibles he brings night in and night out, and looks like he is destined to be an impact player at the next level.

Are post-draft videos with Gorton available from other draft years? would love to hear his views at that time on eg Step, Hags

Interesting to watch these videos again. One thing that really stood out to me was that Gordie has absolutely no reservations about MSC's compete level. None.

BC blew a 2-1 lead with 1 minute left to play in the 3rd period... Neither team scored in overtime and ended up with the tie.... Kreider I think went pointless.

After a tough start to the season (probably related to being disappointed that he didn't make the big club) he's really getting back on track. Has anybody watched him play? Any idea how his all around game is looking?

He's been on a little drought over the past games. Hopefully he picks it back up when the team acutally starts playing 2 games a week again.

So MSC in a major slump. No points to night. Like only two assists his last game. I'm off the bandwagon....

MSC is projected to have more points in the WHL than Nugent-Hopkins did last year, provided he plays the same # of games. (69) Obviously there's other factors that go into the completeness of a player, (grit, hockey sense, leadership, never giving up on plays, etc.) but that's pretty impressive for a 4th rounder.
