I agree. If Rolle can get on track it'd be huge.

If Ross is out next week it hurts. He can occasionally make a play even though he's terrible. Prince has looked LOST and hasn't even been in def meetings lately.

Kiwi needs to play more IMO. He's not used as a rusher enough.

It was terrible. The refs in general were horrendous.

Let's hope all those bad calls vs GB earlier & all the bad calls today come back in spades the next 3 weeks!

Root hard for SF IMO. I think we win in GB 20% of the time & about 2% in N.O.

This is what really worries me. In the few Green Bay games I've watched this year, Rodgers was practically babysat by the refs at some points. Don't want their golden boy to go down easy.

Hopefully a letter/DVD to the league was sent highlighting those calls.

Took a nap, can't believe the Steelers lost.

But yeah, as an atheist, I don't dislike Tebow himself, just the whole Tebowmania can get obnoxious when you have guys legitimately declaring his success a miracle.

That being said, this was probably the best game of his career. He took the run option and ran with it (I typed this out and didn't even realize the pun, wow. ) and looked good when he had to pass.

I think that game also proved that if QBing doesn't work for him he'll make a good HB or TE, they could not stop him when he was running.

Get a 4 man rush on Rodgers and we will disrupt him.

That WR core is the best IMO and you can't give them time to get wide open like they usually do.

It's going to be a shootout. Rodgers vs. Eli and who can exploit who's crappy secondary more.

Giants defense is far better than Green Bay's - especially now. With that said, Green Bay's offense is better than the Giants. Need to get to Rodgers!

Well our pash rush is, but our secondary is not gonna be able to handle the weapons Rodgers has.

I know that Rodgers and his offense are deadly, potent, lethal, whatever adjective you can also think of that makes them scary.

With that said, I'm not scared of Rodgers: I am scared of a repeat we saw with the officials back in Week 13. The supposed out of bounds catch by Ballard in the end zone (Even with the play being reviewed!!!), the negated sack on Rodgers on 3rd down for some kind of flimsy call, the holding by the Packers O-Line, especially their defenders on our WRs (That non-call with Nicks having his jersey knotted by a Packer still brings my blood to a boil!)

I really, really hope the officials are objective come this Sunday because, if not, the G-Men will need nothing short of a miracle.

They won't be.

Easy E is going to have to be at his absolute best.

Just checked his stats and saw that Tebow threw 316 yards average 31.6 per throw. His favorite biblical quote is John 3:16 and his head coaches name is John.

On D: the Giants strength is their pass rush, weakness is their secondary. They have to play to their strength and pressure Rodgers as often as they can. If they can't sack him, force him to get rid of the ball quickly and knock him on his ass. I expect them to be able to get pressure, even with a 4 man rush, now that Tuck is healthy and Osi is back.

Efficient pass rush , rediscovered running game & a bit of luck & the Giants can certainly win.

Tony Sparano has been first in line for Jets in event of this move, per league sources. Expect an announcement by Wednesday.

I don't know what kind of teacher he'll be for Sanchez (hopefully we upgrade QB coach regardless), but I'm glad to see we're re-focusing our offense on the line and ground and pound. Rex finally gets an OC that shares his philosophy.

Don't love Sparano, but he's sure as hell better than Schotty.

Came here to deuce all over Schotty.

Not so sold on Tony "Shades" Sparano, but damn Im happy its not Schotty.. nor Norv Turner for that matter. Figure Moore's role gets increased a bit here.

Draft: S, RB, WR, RT, TE, LB... ugh the Jets need help.

Aaron Ross cleared to play.

Quote:
The New York Giants got the news they were hoping for regarding cornerback Aaron Ross, who was forced out of last week’s playoff victory over the Atlanta Falcons with a concussion.

Ross passed all the concussion protocol tests and was given medical clearance to practice, which he did on Wednesday. If he doesn't have a setback, Ross should be available to play on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
