AV goes to the All-Star game if we win tonight and tomorrow.

Won't be shocked to see a suspiciously lackluster outing in one of the games. He seemed outright pissed about having to go last year.

Can't wait to see Jovanovski back. There was an awesome dude that was intolerable of offences committed on his own team. Jovanovski would transform Marchand into a little ferret like Mad Eye Moody did and then chase him all over the ice. And then he was never seen again.

No school tomorrow and the game scheduled on TV, looks like I'll be interrupting my sleep tonight, hopefully it'll be a great game, though it'll probably be hard to top Saturdays game.

Yeah but this year its in Ottawa..not Raleigh. He's from right across the river. He gets to see his daughters and spend time with friends and family.

4-2 for the Nucks, Burrows with the GWG.

5-4 for the Panthers if Sammy turns on the "F U mode"

Probably Burrows playing the point. Could be Bxa though, but I don't think they want to split up him and Hamhuis and mess up the D pairings even further after PPs.

Hey guys good luck tonight should be a good one. Big fan of David, but hes doubtful; my fingers are crossed he returns to pre concussion David. That is one awesome kid off the ice. Treat him well please.

Anyway good luck tonight should be a fun game if Clemmer can play well.

Cheers.

So Samuelsson did have his head up his ass to start the year.

Kidding. I like Samuelsson and he served his purpose as canuck. He was brought in to provide some secondary scoring until such time as the canucks developed some more or found more. It was time for him to be moved and good on Gillis in getting him somewhere that he would get to play good minutes once he got healthy.

I don't understand how he possibly could. I mean he should be so emotionally fragile right now after getting a shut out and then not getting the very next game!!

Eastern Conference is weird. If I just objectively looked at Florida's stat line without any knowledge of the standings (GF/G vs. GA/G, PK/PP, etc.) I dunno if I'd guess they were a playoff team; third in in the East?! Anyways, we could win this one on special teams alone once again if we can keep it close 5-on-5, and get some calls.

On points they are actually a shared 5th in the east. They are only 3rd because they lead an incredibly weak SE division. They also rely on heavily on their top line + Brian Campbell for their offensive production, their 4th highest scoring forward is Tomas Kopecky with 16 points in 40 games, they have 3 defenders producing more points than any player on their 2nd line. (Granted, Samuelssons PPG is higher than two of those defenders) The key to beating them is really 'just' shutting down the top line and Brian Campbell and then scoring a couple on your own.

Nope, there will be a let down, just like against the Wild before the Boston game.

Gregory Campbell used to play for the Panthers. They are a ball bearing in the Axis Of Evil and must be dealt with aggressively and without mercy.

Coach Dauterive is one of the coaches at the allstar game.

AV vs Dauterive

Would be nice to have some real fireworks at an allstar game. AV should challenge Dauterive to a fight.

Lol...

But if there really is a let down I hope its against Tampa Bay, I hate some players on their team, they have this Chicago smell to them with Kris Versteeg, Tomas Kopecky and Brian Campell there playing big minutes...

There is not denying it. Gregory Campbell was one of the best deadline pickups in recent memory.
