I wish I could forget about it.

I have had to say this about several games this season.

As I said beforehand, I think it's a little early just yet. For all we know, a few years into the contract, he could win us cups, and win the Vezina. He's been bad but people are saying his contract is worse then Dipietro, Redden etc. Give him time, a fair chance...

and shoot Panotch

I have no problem with giving him time and a fair chance. He has all of the season to prove himself to me. Even if he plays in "Phoenix form" we are still not good enough to win the playoffs so i'm not bothered with him needing more time. The problem i have however is the fact that people are refusing to admit that he has been very bad so far and that's just sad.

Instead they find everything else possible throughout the Flyers organization to blame instead.

I am not advocating that Bryz is the best thing that hapenned to Flyers since sliced bread. He has to man up or yield to Bob. But, by the same token, no one shoud get a "free pass" when the team is not performing.

I want this team to win and I want it to win big. I really do not care which goalie hoists the Stanley Cup as long as the team wins it.
I think the system could be adjusted, but Bobrovsky is doing well in the same system so it's a stretch to blame it on the system.

I agree no one deserves a free pass, but to me there is a whole lot of excuse making for someone who is currently one of the worst goalies in the entire league.

Bryz 16 9 3

Wins do nothing for judging a goalie abilities and you should know that. Lundqvist is 18-7-4. He just about on par with Bryz then right?

The problem with that stat is it fails to take into account the fact that Vokoun's offense is scoring a good bit less than the Flyers, if Bryz had less support from his offense he'd have quite a few more losses since he pretty much allows at least 3 goals against per game.

Vokoun is performing better. He allows less goals, which allows his team to win despite scoring less than the Flyers. It's insane that for Philly, scoring 3-4 goals while Bryz is in net is by no means a guaranteed victory. If anything, it's generally only a tie.

Turnovers are as big a problem as the Flyers goal tending right now. They've got to stop force feeding the high guy entering offensive zone when teams are taking those lanes away.

Avoiding stupid flip passes in your own zone isn't a bad idea either. Our Flyers have a plethora of problems at the moment.

as he should be

They are sieve like defensively and their goalie cannot stop 50 goal scorers who are left alone at the crease.

He also can't stop 10 goal scorers taking normal, run of the mill shots.

Really, pretty much any shot that anyone takes has a chance of going in at this point.

he needs to channel Andy Reid: "I've got to do better."

I don't know who you were having a conversation with then because I clearly said he has not been good so far this year.

in my view I don't think Vokoun is much better.

i think Bryz is a better goalie.

i think that will be shown come season's end.

you will not change my mind. i'll judge it by what my eyes tell me.

Bryz hasn't been great. he's been about as good as the overall team D in my view.
