The site actually is legit. I bought a Steve Thomas jersey from there about 3 months ago and the quality was very good. I purchased a Mick Vukota jersey for my cousins birthday the other day as well.

I am in the process of pulling a big time jersey foul and getting Smith (greatest goalie of all time) put on our current white jersey.

You can definitely get away with it as long as you don't put his name on the back. Smith was with the team when they wore the white jersey with the tieups ('72-'76). There are a couple of differences. The orange is different, the stripes are a bit different. but it's not like you're putting his name on a Orange Pumpkin or Fisherman jersey.

I say you're good wearing it

they have both the '72 version and the 80's version

I believe they still sell the real jerseys, so F the Nike jerseys or whatever sneaker/shoe tie in. Get a traditional. He's right, they're not far off. It'll look cool and you'll save on lettering.
