Chad LaRose likely won't play for Carolina, lines were shifted with a call-up.

According to lines at Tuesday's skate, without specific positions:
Tlusty, Staal, Ruutu,
Ponikarovsky, Samson, Jokinen
Nodl, Brandon Sutter, Dwyer
Brent, Brett Sutter, Stewart

Just win and please, less defensive breakdowns in our own zone.

im not very optimistic about our play any more, goalies just does not shine, defence and all the turnovers doesnt help it and Roo together with JJ and Hartsy on cold streek
Please prove me wrong, go flyers!

this would have been a great game for bryz to get a shut out in, carolina is banged up and can't buy a win out there, last i checked staal was like minus million too. they'll beat up on the canes and then get too cocky for the next game. roo will have a big night (so could lines 2 through four) because the canes just don't have any good matchups in this game. could be a slaughter tonight, it'd be nice to win by 4 plus goals.

Like Bryz he's good for at least 1, usually 2 bad goals a game. The good news is that he's still young and developing. The bad news is he's probably not going to be here for his best years, assuming he makes it as a starter.

if he can stop that early drop to butterfly, i bet he stops those 1-2 goals that we shouldnt be giving up..

thats seriously the only weak area of Bobs game i can see..

One additional lineup change:

Rinaldo will be scratched. Harry Z is in.

I thought it was fantastic to see him stay up and shut the top corner on Malkin during the Pitt game right after he gave up a top corner goal. I like improvement.

I am really looking forward to Read/Couturier/Harry Z. A ton of speed on the wing and smarts in the middle.

It's long overdue that I/we see a decent game from the D. Tonight is a good opportunity for this.

If not, just win. The Rags are pulling away.
