It could have been more games. I think that shows a bit of leniency from the NHL.

Joke!
And with each ******** suspension handed down, I lose more and more interest. A couple more seasons of this watered down pablum, and I'll be doing other things game night.

oh, and **** you Shanny, you self righteous hypocrite.

Has Jacques been suspended more games than he's played in now?

I'd say that being considered a prior offender for being a meathead leaving the bench was considered less of a concern than the guys who had priors for actual head shots.

About what I expected, maybe a little less. Good to see Beauchemin didn't get anything.

Yeah, I'm quite surprised really, it wasn't a very nice hit at all.

Expected atleast a 5 game suspension. Glad Beauch didn't get punished. Not arguing the suspension, but what about that guy running Ryan into the boards?

would be great for that one yo be looked at, and the beauch hit (board)!! because there was intent to "retaliate" there but I think in this case, as the explanation comes out you will hear about intent??!!

the guy didnt look like he intended to finish bobby

on the other hand, jaques got ran, boarded and there was no call. I was annoyed about the no call. but so was he! he took a shot at someone as he left the ice on that shift, as he crossed our blue line back to the bench, then he goes out and makes an illegal hit. Although he did not necessarily go out to make an illegal hit, there was definitely "intent" to exact revenge! therefore, 3 games!!

Although I dont like that it ended up being an illegal hit, I like the notion of him exacting revenge, it would be good if he would do this on the teams behalf, instead of for himself, beleskey was overmatched, realistically so was brookbank, jaques was the heavy out there!!

Im fine with suspensions, but not with inconsistency!!!

I like the "repeat offender" part, just like in court. Jaques to jail
but still pretty light suspension. Btw. How is Mark Bell doing in AHL? How bout him instead of Jaques? He can hit, shoot and fight.

If it was a first time offender I bet the guy wouldn't even have been suspended

Wouldn`t it be better that we keep him day more up and 1 game from suspension already goes off?
