I caught some of it, nothing much of substance. Just a little talk about the big trade in the off season. A little about Paul Deutsch like you said. It wasn't really interesting.

PA ended up asking Parise a lot of tougher questions. Parise did a fairly good job wiggling his way out of them but it's an interesting short listen never the less...

Talked about the Ownership/money issues rumored, if he has a tough time with his name thrown around in rumors/uncertainty of next season contract wise, playing in Newark, wanting to play back home, etc.

Anyone else find the Parise interview embarrassing?

Something about our local sports media drooling over somebody else's talent in that way rubbed me the wrong way. I get the "one of us" angle on the story... but that was in poor taste IMO.

I have no idea why Parise agreed to it either.

Haven't listened to it but I'd rather have the media ask the tough (and obvious) questions than constant fluff.
