Opposition players who have ended or contributed to ending Flyer careers?

Ok..so given the latest possible casualty with Pronger..wanted to start a thread annotating or debating all the Flyers players who have been forced to retire due to an injury caused by an opposing player.

For example...Darius Kasparaitis and Scott Stevens had a hand in ending Lindros career with the latter really having a major impact even though Lindros went on to play for a few more years with NY and Dallas. He was but a former shell of himself though.

Obviously, people like Bernie Parent, Keith Primeau etc all had careers ended. I can't recall the specifics so I'm seeking resident experts to try and set the record straight if possible.

Sadly, Grabovoski is looking like the latest culprit in Pronger's case...

Who took the shot that hit Lappy's head?

Edit: This thread is going to be a handy reference guide for players to hate.

I don't think it was grabovskis stick that did in pronger, he took a somewhat innocent hit in the game with the yotes where his head bounced against the boards. I think it was hanzel.

Claude Laforge, by Noel Picard, during the 1968 playoffs against St. Louis. He played in two more NHL games the following season before riding out his career in the minors.

Another is Ray Allison who was also Brian Propp's linemate in Juniors. He was never the saw after Gaetan Duchesne tripped him causing him to slid into the goal post which resulted in a broken ankle. He tried to come back but was never able to regain his regular role.

Does Bob McCammon count, the way Bill Barber's career ended?

It's still somewhat unclear but def Hanzel contributed. I still think the initial lethal shot was Grabs bc it has been noted that Pronger may have suffered an initial ocular concussion bc of the trauma of the stick. He def wasnt 100% in that yotes game either.

Did bring it up in the initial post. Anyway wouldnt mind if the mods compiled a list in that initial post from the feedback here. Def a good reference...despite the misfortune.

Add Bob Dailey to the list.

His last game with the Flyers, he was taken off the ice on a stretcher in Buffalo when Tony McKegney tried to beat him on an icing and their legs got tangled.

I forget Dailey's exact words but he said he was despondent until he shared a hospital emergency room with some guy who had his head blown off in a shooting.

Forgot about Thomas Eriksson. He took a blast which shattered his kneecap and never played for the Flyers again. He returned to Sweden and played a few seasons, however.
