Well yeah. I think I mentioned in the GDT I had nothing wrong with the elbow. Dirty is dirty. Caps have no dirty.

You know that disturbing scene from Silence... yeah no marbles. Its not just us though, certainly the nuNHL is all about skating and clean hockey. But we have to be one of the softest teams.

Yep swimmer, I am all for breaking up the kids. The novelty will wear off if they flat out are not getting things done. Like now. But just like last year, when someone gets hurt and they have to play with someone else, its like training camp watching them run around. Carlson + Alzner all year ---> Carlson hurt vs Tampa ---> Alzner Hannan. And it was ugly. There is no excuse to not shake up the Dpairs over the year.

Alzner Wideman | Hammer Carlson

Does anyone see any harm at all in trying that for a game?

Its a damn shame we havent seen Alzner Green. I have waited years for that pairing.

I still think they need crazy, and they never got it. Letting Matt Cooke go was silly.

The problem is they never really replaced a fighter either.

Cooke was never "crazy" here. He was Matt Bradley without the fighting (and poorer in the playoffs).

I'm of the mind that this team has more than enough stupid on it to go around. Now replacing the kind of stupid they have now with a more, say, dangerous type? I guess it could work.

Really wish Green was healthy...so we could trade him for Corey Perry.

another 2.5 hours of my life saved by not watching these sad sacks attempt to play a road game. LOL at how predictable it is at this point.

5 goals to the worst offense in hockey? awesome.

Way to talk his ear off Karl.

This is the problem with this team. Some **** happens...they talk about it...but never do a ****ing thing about it.
LOL...nothing like a good stern lecture to make the opposition think even less of you as a man.

The Caps had crazy, but they let Pinner walk and traded SDR for DJFK! Both had balls and could actually play.

*Edit: Smartphone keyboards suck.
