The analyst was a goalie at Harvard and drafted by the Flyers.

I like these announcers too; the play-by-play guy sounds like the Swedish Chef when he calls a goal and I like that

i was listening to the flyers' feed until nhl.com stopped letting me watch what i'm paying to watch (still bitter). dunno if they're normally homers but they definitely were on that play; evening up would have been silly. schenn hardly did anything and the simmons bump was next to nothing. gleason went overboard and justifiably got the penalty. if you don't want a penalty, don't punch someone in the face repeatedly.

Haven't seen the goal on bob. Weak or legitimate goal?

jackson is definitely pro-flyers but isn't a complete tool about it. clement is reasonably neutral for a home announcer. coates is a doofus.

At least I haven't noticed the others getting beat all that much.

Stranger, too, that another Harvard goalie was picked earlier that same draft by the Flyers. Not sure how often an NHL team has drafted two goalies in the same draft from one team, a rarity nonetheless.

I don't know. To me it looked like it happened way too fast. It was like close shot, block, rebound, shot, block, rebound, goal.

Bob made 2 excellent saves but by the 3rd wack at the puck he was splayed out on the ice..

such a shame. bob was fighting the whole time during that frenzy to keep the goal from happening.

It could be worse. Pittsburgh is losing 4-1 to Ottawa. And Detroit is losing to the Islanders 4-1.
