I really do love Bob's 'rush back and cover the bar', when a puck goes up high off him. Obviously at some point in his career he did not do that, one went up in the air off him and came down into the net! Don't see many goalies as urgently getting back in such situations!

its because every team is doing the new york shut down on us and lavy either doesn't have a counter for it or thinks they can eventually break through it.

Jagr writes something like a blog for one Czech media outlet...last entry was today and he didn't complain of being overworked, quite the opposite - he said that the road trips are tough for him, because he can't practice as much as he needs, especially after the injury. Said he is taking a lot of extra practice on evenings and he can't do that on the road...

I enjoy that as well, but when he did that move a few minutes ago he looked like a crucified Christ.

Did Bob get a piece of that? He's been huge regardless.

Bob is a boss! No way it would be 2-1 right now with Bryz in the net.

Now THAT'S what you need to be a Cup contender. When your defense breaks down, a goalie that can pick up the slack with a big save. I want to see more of that from Bryz and Bob the rest of this season.

Haha... yeh, it is just really unique, makes me smile each time. Also shows how he just doesn't ever give up on the shot! Gota love his tenacity.

I hope Lavi sends the 1st line out now, so they can get some empty net goal and build confidence.
