First up are the Pittsburgh Penguins, in town on Wednesday night. In most recent seasons, a Capitals-Penguins meeting in mid-January would be a marquee match-up featuring two of the league’s top teams, rosters rife with stars on both sides. Both clubs have had more than their share of struggles lately, both on the ice and in the infirmary.
I would have thought this would be the one team the Caps play where Caps fans on both sides of the aisle (Capsareawesome/Capsareterrible) could just cheer against the *other* team.
That said, the Caps always get up for the Pens. 5-2 good guys.

You said nothing about Whyno, which is the point. It's impossible to tell whether the definitive statements that you make are actual news or idle speculation from the desk of txpd. Which the defeats the purpose of reading a news consolidating message board.
not really an endorsement of erskine either. its ugly for both of them. orlov and tk are going to make for an interesting view. vokoun(or whoever the goalies is...no announcement has been made and its unclear who the starter will be.....bdf....is that better?) is going to have an interesting time when they are on the ice
