Geoff is friends with an Erik Johnson, so it does make sense.

How did they become friends? Seems like an unlikely relationship.

Seriously, we should totally have Guy Boucher and Steve Yzerman as our coach and GM. They'd never employ softies like Tom Pyatt...

And he will hire Perry Pearn as the head coach of the Habs. Carbo and Don Lever will be his assistants. Patrick Roy will be the goalies coach. Head of scouting will be Perry Pearn (hell, he learned to love scouting as a job).

Gauthier on Zamboni, Gainey selling Molson's down the aisles. Kirk Muller will replace Youppi as mascot.

Go Habs Go. We are the most "green" franchise in the NHL. We are all about recycling.

Seriously, are you going to go out and give it your best effort?

Or are you going to simply go through the motions and pretend like you give a ****?

If you say you would work your ass off, you arent very honest.
If my company was paying me $4 million, if they told me to cheerlead I'd ask where the pom-poms were.

The funny/sad thing is if the Habs hired Martin to be a janitor people would still complain.

Guys I really do not understand what all the fuss is all about! Most of our coaches there were let go ended up being a scout for the team and it is not just in Montreal we do that.

What these ex coaches usally do is scout the teams that we are lined up to play againts in the up coming week. So instead of just relying on video they have eyes in sky reporting what they see. And if the habs are looking at a certain player to trade for they ask him for his advice along with the other scouts and if you do not know here are the names:

Doug Gibson
Professional Scout
Frank Jay
Amateur Scout - Ontario and cross-check
Serge Boisvert
Amateur Scout - Quebec and Eastern USA
Elmer Benning
Amateur Scout - Western Canada
Ryan Jankowski
Amateur Scout - Western Canada and Western USA
Mike McCann
Amateur Scout - Ontario
William A. Berglund
Amateur Scout - Eastern USA
Pat Westrum
Amateur Scout - Western USA
Vaughn Karpan
Professional Scout
Hannu Laine
Amateur Scout - Finland
Christer Rockstrom
Scout - Europe pros and amateur

So guys seriously we are Habs fans and we are expected to know our hockey and not act like little kids in a school yard.
