Will still count against the cap, won't count against CT Whale veteran limit. A good move for EC and the Rangers. Hopefully he can put up some points and maybe raise his value as a throw in come the deadline.
Good for EC to accept the stint as well. Hope he and Avery don't clash too hard
I just hope he helps the Whalepack win a few games.
And then stays their permanently.

13.8 Conditioning Loan. Unless a Player consents, he shall not be Loaned on a

So are we to take this as Wolski said no to being sent down?
That or he wasn't asked. They might want to keep him close in case of injuries. They might even want to give him a look, though Torts' statements suggest otherwise.
Edit: Latest news on Dubi probably confirms W's here as insurance.

Im taking it as I dont know if dubi is going tomorrow, wolski is currently skating in his spot in practice. IDK if its a maintanence day or not, but dubi not on the ice.

@AGrossRecord
Torts says Dubinsky (right shoulder) is sore, he will be a game-time decision tomorrow.
Good move here. Erik can play, maybe get his confidence back against "lower" competition and show some guys what he´s capable of (maybe a trade is coming). Also helps the whale because Hagelin, Mitchell are in NY and Kolarik and Zuccarello still injured.
When Dubi is 100% again I think WW will also be send down. Would be also a good move.
Shortly before Avery was called up the first time, he was an in-season acquisition. He's a great guy to have on the Whale, he has NHL experience, he's willing to stick up for his teammates, and he seems to be a really well-liked guy among players.

Really like Voros as a Ranger. Very easy player to root for and his teammates liked him a lot. It sucks that he isn't a good player cause he's a very good person. Having him on the Whale is good. He can teach the guys a lot about the NHL and what it takes to get to that level.
smart move on EC's part and I think wolski should do the same...getting into some games down there and playing well is probably his best chance to get into a nhl lineup this year, whether it be with the rangers or another club.
and dubi might be sore but he looked fine after returning last night so i'd be surprised if he couldn't go tomorrow.

Dubinsky did not look fine. He couldn't shoot the puck. If the shootout went longer, we probably would of seen Stu Bickel before Brandon. If Dubinsky is only playing with 1 arm, he should sit.
He has twice signed a PTO--professional tryout--to play with the Whale this season. If memory serves, he asked Sather for a shot with the Whale in the hopes that he could land an NHL deal somewhere.
