So I should expect Ottawa to go 82-0? Just because I don't expect Ottawa to win doesn't mean I'd love for them to come out with a victory.

I can't believe it. A game that I can watch all 60 minutes!

However this team is even hotter than Hanzel right now, so I'm not expecting much.

Should be a great game. So far this year both games were real close and that was before our current incarnation. Should be interesting to see how we do now that we have Turris -- you can be sure that the team is going to show up for this game though after what has happened with them.

4 - 3 Ottawa in OT. Alfredsson with the game winner.

Rangers are an amazing team. If we play against King Henrik, I expected a tough game. We'll need Karlsson to be on to keep up with Gaborik and Richards. Should be a fun one for sure and a real test for us.

A lot of teams seem to love to play their backups against us even in our surge.

If we win this game, the whole league will pay more attention to us and we'd start getting recognition as a legitimate playoff team.

We said that about Philly too and we took 3 of 4 points.

The irony about this stretch is we aren't gonna prove ourselves to anyone until we lose a game in regulation and come back strong and continue to beat good teams. Until we lose, all we are to anyone is on a hot streak in which we are destined to crash afterward.

We pretty much won't impress anyone until our roster is regarded as strong. On one side, if we lose we can just laugh it off...on the other end, if we win, we aren't going to get much respect. Even if we get deep it'll be considered a lucky run.

It's hard to get respect if your a team with little expectation.

I agree with MoO. The only way we're getting taken seriously is if we win the cup hahaha.

If we won the Cup this year, there would probably be a poll up the next day on whether to expect us in the playoffs in 2012-2013 or not. We'll get respect as our roster improves and if/when prospects pan out and fill big roles.

Fans in Toronto thought they were better then Ottawa when the Sens made the playoffs for a decade straight and they were out golfing. I don't think it matters what the Sens do in the eyes of Toronto/Montreal the Senators like Rodney Dangerfield don't get no respect.

That's why the Edmonton Oilers' board kinda makes me laugh at this point of the season. I honestly do like their team and I watch Edmonton games from time to time, but their fan base was so cocky to start out the year. When we played them earlier in the season they were chirping how Ottawa wouldn't score goals and they'd be horrible. Well look where the team that finished last two years running is currently, and look where Ottawa is. People need to learn to be humble about their team until they start rolling in Stanley Cups.

Personally I'm just hoping for a solid effort in this game. The Sens might be up against Lundqvist, but with our very own King K back in the lineup I think we'll give them a run for their money.

If you can't play your backup against a lottery team, who can you play your backup against?

<- just in case people didn't get it.

I'm going to the game. They won last time I saw them at MSG, so they have to win for me tonight... so far I'm 1-0-1.

Nice. He's just amazing, love watching him on the blue line during PP, such a stick handler! Just a question of time before he get the recognition he deserves on HF.

I'd rather be underrated. We've never done well when we've been considered the favourites anyways. Just hope they keep underestimating us until we win the cup!

EdmontonTheir scouting has improved ten fold they say pretty easy to look better whenever you are picking in the top three, but i still find a team that has no depth they have their big three up front with lttle to nothing behind it.

Their defense is a mess and their goaltending is nothing to write home about.Add to this they still cant attract decent FA,s to help support their kids development and overall on ice product. If things dont change soon they could turn into the canadian version of the NYI

I didn't think we brought the required intensity against the injury-replete Penguins.

We're going to need a much better effort to crack the Rangers.

Taking needless penalties will kill us as well.

Hopefully Karlsson is back as they expect.
