This is a little worrisome, that shoulder is sure giving him a lot of problems.

Could be worse, as in, another year long rehabilitation.

This organization just cannot catch a break...CDH injured AGAIN. Why do we always seem to sign the players that have a tendency to get injured over and over again. Just makes me wonder when Nino's next concussion will be...geez

Don't even joke about that. But seriously this sucks, this organization needs a exorcism asap.

This is bad — really bad.

As an NHL defenseman, that shoulder needs to take the banging — especially because CDH is not the biggest guy on the ice.

I am concerned that he may not be able to become that top-level player we had all hoped.

Then again — certainly Poulin, who injured his same knee twice has bounced back wonderfully.

It is just a wait and see.
But yeah — the Isles can't catch a break. To me this simply makes guys like Donovan and Ness who are playing really well, that much more valuable.

Some serious moves/adjustments need to be made to our D corps and prospects if this is at all a lingering issue for CDH. Whatever pick we do end up with I hope its a top D man.

I thought I read somewhere a day or so ago that this wasn't the shoulder he hurt the first time.

How many injuries to the same shoulder now?

I believe this is the 3rd? 1 major one the first time around. A second re-injury of a lesser extend in Juniors. Now this.

Am I right?

I'm not sure which shoulder this is, but i'm almost certain I read that the two previous injuries were to different shoulders. Can't find a link anywhere though, sorry.

How many injuries does CdH have to sustain before I can safely call him an injury bust? I loved Martinek as a complete player on defense except his injuries. They kind of diminished his value, and league wide. CdH looks like he is going down that very same road.

Nothing against Calvin, but throwing all of those picks at him and then passing on Kulikov... just plain stupid.

Snow, Wang, Yzerman, and the apologists can all go cry me a river of excuses. This team needs to make some additions to the defense pronto via trade or our promising forward core will have BS to work with for the next 8 years. And that my friends is 100% unacceptable.

Save for the concussions, injuries and the handling of are an organizational issue. One of many that don't get addressed.
