I would be very happy if Colin Greening is in the rookie all-star game that for him would be a good experience for him.

Not official yet, so I still have hope.
His numbers are better than Adam Larsson across the board.

See TSN's rookie rankings

I don't even agree Landeskog should be just ahead.

In terms of shear impact and minutes and performance as a rookie I think Cowen only trails RNH and Henrique

TSN rankings are heavily influenced by fantasy rankings, so points skew there rankings a lot.

You guys do know that they're not going to fill the entire roster up with Senators, right?

Cowan and Greening will be fine

I actually would give the nod to Cowan before Greening. Greening has been solid but has also been put in a very nice situation. Cowan has had to play tough minutes with Gonchar and Kuba out at different times.

Cowen should get the nod. I said this before but its harder to learn the NHL game playing D. This kid plays a regular shift which says alot.

I do belief you are pointing out my spelling error. Sorry, screwed up the spelling when he was first drafted and still get hung up.

That is to bad. With only 12 there isn't a lot of room for D though, but you have Faulk with 28 games played and Cowen with 44 games played.

12 Rookies

Luke Adam, Buffalo Sabres
Justin Faulk, Carolina Hurricanes
Gabriel Landeskog, Colorado Avalanche
Ryan Johansen, Columbus Blue Jackets
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Edmonton Oilers
Craig Smith, Nashville Predators
Adam Henrique, New Jersey Devils
Adam Larsson, New Jersey Devils
Colin Greening, Ottawa Senators
Sean Couturier, Philadelphia Flyers
Matt Read, Philadelphia Flyers
Cody Hodgson, Vancouver Canucks

The Big C can use the break to his advantage and come up fresh for the stretch. He will probably get nominated for some hardware in his prime.

Great to see Greening made it in to the young guns game, he has had a great season & deserves to be there. The two setups he made to Michalek in the Pitt game (I think it was) were very creative & shows he can do a lot more. I think we are witnessing a powerfoward in the making, nice to see the NHL recognize his good play.

It's too bad that Cowen didn't make it as well but that shouldn't take away from Greening who works his ass off on every shift & deserves to be there just as much & is having a very good season too.

I'm glad to see greening there! He's a hard worker, and I like this kid (even if he hasn't been QUITE as good as of late).
