Toews and Hossa re very deserving, Kane, ehhhhh.

Congrats to all though.

Hope Seabrook or Keith gets voted in by the NHL, both deserves it.

Kane makes it by reputation.

Anybody else from Rockford going to the AHL all star game? Also, any rookies of our team going to young guns?

I think Pirri is in the AHL All Star game. No idea about anyone else.

Yes, it seems that in the AHL All-Star is only Pirri

A healthy Sharp would NOT have made all-stars

Nice. The 3 Hawks I'd want to see are going.

Sharp would have made it if not hurt...

http://espn.go.com/chicago/nhl/story...all-star-berth

you need to replace him anyways, why not just add him then replace him?

Byfuglien and Wideman make it over Keith? Lmao

Our 3rd dman from last year makes it. Must be all about points, yet Girardi made it from his defensive abilities.

I think Evander Kane should have been the Jets rep in the ASG.

I'd prefer no Hawks at the game, so they can all get rest instead. Well maybe put Kane there so he can get his globtrotting out of the way and play real hockey for the 2nd half.

Sometimes it comes down to which positions are available to be filled, not who's the best player. Every team had to be represented, and it can get tricky.

Even if Sharp were healthy he may not have made it. The way I see it Kane and Toews are going no matter what, the AS game is about marketing the league and they are two of the biggest names and Kane is one of the best Americans. Hossa deserves it over Sharp, so then for him to make it you would have to eliminate a forward from another team, but make sure they are all still represented, which is easier said than done. The AS game is nice and fun for the fans, but it means little in terms of player evaluation, often deserving players get left behind because of circumstance.
