obviously hank deserves it and he's been rested this year, but i'd rather he got the days off...the asg and skills competition are just abusive on goalies lol
It's good for the players because I know they love the recognition but honestly I think the whole all star business is crap. And what I worry about is the possibility of someone getting hurt and that has happened before to us.
There's no reason for hank not to play. I mean he'll see what, 20 minutes of game time and give up a couple goals? So what? It's not going to tire him out. It's an honor to be selected, and he's having a career year. Let him enjoy it.
Even if he could probably use the rest. Nice to see the league recognize great defensive play.

Four teams (New Jersey, Columbus, Colorado, and Edmonton) took up 5 slots in the Rookie game. These teams had to send a rookie since they didn't send any All Stars. Only reason I see Hags getting snubbed
