I want to see what he can do, put him on the 2nd line.

Sens will probably be going after Wolski though, after his hit on Alfredsson.

well here is his chance, good game and he may stay in the lineup when Dubi comes back.

I agree that Mitchell is likely a spare once its all said and done. perfect extra guy though, cheap

Little risky on the 2nd line, don't you think?

It's a test, maybe his final shot to prove that he belongs in our top6.
If he doesn't produce, he is useless to us and can stay out of the lineup for the rest of the season.

Time to step up to the plate Wolski.

At the very least should be a trade "showcase".

Yeah I want to see what he can do with Richards. If he can't produce there he can't do it anywhere else on the roster.

And the alternatives for that 2nd line spot are rare anyway. Maybe Hagelin, but the rest of our bottom six hasn't done much to suggest they'd do better than Wolski in that spot.

If you put him on anything but the second line, there will always be that lingering question about whether he could hack it on that line. I would rather give him that time and watch him fail, then never give him the time and not know if he really would push hard in what he KNOWS is his last shot here. If he sucks, no skin off our back, he doesn't play again, maybe a throw in to keep a trade partner above the floor.

Listen, this guy was good once, we have to try one last time, whatever was in his head that messed him up, playing important minutes on the best team in the league may be the thing that snaps him back.

some of you are pretty harsh. i think you gotta give the guy more than 1 game to show what he's got. not saying he's the missing top 6 forward many of us have been clamoring for...but give the guy a break considering how long he's been out.

Noone said one game BUT what I want to see from him in his first game, is drive and determination, willingness to battle, and a point wouldn't hurt. Not gonna give up on him if he shows this, but goes pointless.

Is the argument that players don't suddenly get much better in favor of Wolski?

He had a decent game. Awesome first period but then the entire team dropped off after that.

I keep him in the top 6, move Arty to the 3rd line C.

#NYR F Lines at practice: Wolski-Stepan-Gaborik; Prust-Richards-Callahan; Hagelin-Boyle-Mitchell; Anisimov-Rupp-Fedotenko...Dubi not on ice

Would not mind seeing:
Wolski-Stepan-Gaborik; Hagelin- Richards-Callahan; Anisimov-Boyle-Mitchell; Fedotenko-Rupp-Prust...

When Dubi returns:
Wolski-Stepan-Gaborik; Dubinsky - Richards-Callahan; Hagelin-Anisimov-Mitchell; Fedotenko-Boyle- Rupp/Prust...

Dammit I hope Dubi returns soon. Prust isn't going to do much for the Richards line.

Dubi is a game-time decision tomorrow night as well.
