Good riddance to one of our many smurfs!

Cammy has been traded. He has been told by management

Why do you trade an elite sniper in the middle of a game where you're losing against your greatest rivals? He hasn't been doing all that well, but FFS, you need everyone for a hope to win this.

The return better be real good. He was the only player to get us to rise from our seats since Kovalev left.

I'm very happy by this news personally. Solves our cap issues as well as makes us better. Addition by subtraction.

If he's traded, full tank is on. He's our only goal scorer regardless if he's not playing well right now.

This probably means we're mailing it in. Unless we're geting a better player back by some miracle.

He was, we could say, effectively fired.

I don't think you'd get Umberger or Guchi. His value can't be as high as it was earlier, and the contract is steep. I have to say I am unimpressed more and more by the Montreal management. Your trying to win a hockey game for christ sake! Way to take away your teams focus...

There has most likely been a deal in the works for a while.

His recent comments probably sealed the deal.

Can not see the return being good. I hate seeing players traded while on a slump. He could've been better next year.

Not for anything but taking a guy you consider a top 6 forward out of the line up mid game kind of screams "we lost this game, **** it", isn't that a losers mentality? Obviously, you want to make sure your guy isn't injured but sending him home MID game? C'mon.

He should have kept his mouth shut!!! You don't come out to the media and call your team a bunch of losers when you've been the worst player out of the bunch all season!!!

Good riddence...I just hope we got a good return!!
