I am serious. Souray pushed Doughty into his own goalie and what he did after that does not belong in NHL.

I'll take a season ending shoulder injury over a week long concussion for Kopitar. Pretty much anything but a concussion.

Hell of a left hook there by Souray too.

Minus Kopitar's hopefully minor injury, that's the kind of game you want to watch.

I don't know if it was technically SH. But, it was close enough.

Edit. Wtf am I talking about. Breakaway goal.

I don't think it was a shorty, but it was beautiful.

No at all. That's is the opposite of the game you want to watch. I would rather see more boring 1-0 games than that again. Calls were bad and everything was a complete joke.

"the holier-than-thou refs had nothing to do with it" attitude is just as wrong as asserting that we lost the game solely because of the refs, in my opinion. i don't believe the refs threw the game for us, but how doughty ended up with a misconduct after that scrum and nothing happened to benn is just beyond me. ridiculous.

but wow, i hope all the posters coming in here (dallas and otherwise) don't build our reputation off this PGT. i'd like to point out, however, the post counters for the particularly inflammatory posters. sorry, on our behalf, for all that.

I am out, some of this stuff is just laughable.

Cooler heads prevail. Maybe tomorrow we'll all be over it.

It's a frustrating loss but I'd hardly put the blame solely on the refs. Doughty dove, that was not a missed call. Morrow's hit was vicious but clean. Richards 4 minute penalty was by the books, he instigated with a visor. The penalties awarded in the final scrum were dumb, but it was like 20-30 seconds left of the game at that point.

As long as Kopitar is ok, and hopefully can play next game just fine.. I can see this game, lighting a fire under the kings. Resulting in them going on a long win streak.

****!!!!! we start playing well and kopi goes down.

we were brutal defensively for most of the game.
even with the 3 PP goals i still thought it looked awful.

The positives: - Kopitar and Johnson with multi-point games
- Quick still kept us in the game
- More than 3 goals again!
- All four lines are effective (whenever Penner feels like using the pancake energy)
- 3 PP goals!

The Negative(s).......ya......

Agree, I love his swagger. Seems like he wouldn't mind to fight at all.

This and the non-call on the Dewey trip are my only gripes. Everything else they only have themselves to blame.

Get well Kopi.
