And ? It could of gone the other way as well and not scored. Point is, he still did it and it wasn't to draw the penalty. He always does crap like that. Lapierre used to draw so much criticism for the same stuff.
Whatever man. You sound like my friends who are Leafs and Bruins fans. He went out there and tried to get something going in an otherwise completely dull game. They were obviously not going to get anywhere and he stirred **** up and got them off their game plan and we scored.
It's this kind of thinking that keeps Montreal in the pits of the league. We let ourselves get bullied. I don't give a rat's ass about criticism or what other teams players think. We should be standing up for our players who go to war, not bashing them and running them out of town.
If an NHL player called him a coward then so be it, he does some stupid stuff and doesn't back up for it which can be embarrassing and can make him a coward.
PK doesn't back it up, he's a dirty player. I know he was swatting with Marchand, but he constantly does 'dirty' plays against players he knows won't come at him since they are out of his league. I don't like it, I don't like players like Marchand either. I think PK is a fine talent, and he should focus on that rather than the other antics.

He's been in 5 fights the last 2 years so he has answered for it in the past, just find it funny/ironic when people who have probably never been in a fight in their life are calling him a coward because he's backed out of fights before after making a dirty play or yapping.
So none of us have a right to call out any player, or hockey move, since we haven't played in the NHL? I guess you won't be discussing NHL topics any more, since you have never played at that level.. gotcha. Oh the irony.

Don't bother you wont change the tree hugging, figure skating mentality of some on this board.
I think last night's "turtle" was PK knowing exactly what he was doing and who he was doing it against, in hindsight I think it's pretty funny, he let the neanderthals neander.
In the third PK got aggressive with a much bigger guy and than laid a good hit which gave us a PP and our only goal.
Did you guys see PK battle it out there with Lucic? How many of our players would do that? Their knees would shake just looking at him. Don't call him a coward because he is not. He is just a terrible fighter.
Sure he might have to fight once in a while but that was not the time. Plus I don't see many Dmen who lead their teams in TOI fighting so much.

I think the turtle was him just reacting to the fact Ference had his gloves off and was already punching him before he could react. Anybody would do the same, Ference had the jump on him and there was no chance of winning let alone getting the gloves off. Im sure he's not afraid to fight the guy or anything.
To those who would trade PK Subban for Getzlaf in a heartbeat: How do you think we'll win with Gorges, Kaberle, Diaz, Weber and Emelin on defense? (Forget Markov.)

Lets give Pk a full year next year to see how he does it could be a sophmore slump hes having an off year offensively and decision making wise. Things he can work on in the off season maybe set his mind straight. Subban becomes tradeable if Beaulieu can come in and do what Subby does.
There was a theory being bandied about in the summer of 2009 to the effect that Gainey targeted Cammalleri as his prize UFA acquisition. But Cammalleri wouldn’t come to Montreal to be centred by Saku Koivu.
well Subban and Pacioretty basically are callin out Gauthier...so watch for a trade ,because we won't be getting Tougher!Wiz said the same thing(good team but need more toughness) last year and wasn't resigned....Not an offer.
Gauthier will not even have the opportunity to sign or not sign them, as he will be the first ejected from the club when the summer comes.
Even the team’s well-travelled coach couldn’t specifically remember circumstances as bizarre as the in-game trade that sent Mike Cammalleri to Calgary for René Bourque.
“I seem to recall something like that,” Randy Cunneyworth said. “But I can’t place a player’s name or team or level of hockey.”
Chris Campoli, who was a healthy scratch in Boston, described the abrupt jettison of Cammalleri as “a unique situation, one that not many of us have been through before.”
Subban is young and full of potential. He's having an off year just like everybody else on this team. If they trade him - I'm not following this team anymore until they have new owner.
