I'm not particularly happy with that trade but I'm not ready to whine yet. It's way too early. Cammalleri wasn't bringing much to the habs right now, I think we should give Bourque his chance. He may finds himself here. People were *****ing about Cole too, he's playing better than most expected right now. Who knows what Montreal will do to Bourque. We already know he can be a very useful and versatile forward when motivated. Hopefully he'll reach that level of play again.

Stay positive! (I still think Cammalleri was traded at the worst time but the return isn't as bad as I've expected)

I don't understand why we had to pull Cammy from the game. We were already short forwards and it was a very close game. So stupid.

Which one of Moen, Kostitsyn, Cole, Patches, Bourque or White is soft? Oh you mean the sophomore Eller?

Rene Bourque doesn't help anything either,
Assertion with little evidence.

I'm in favor of a rebuild as this team isn't cut out to do what is required to win a cup, trading for long term contracts of 30 year olds is detrimental to that cause.
Using your bias to shade an argument.

I don't want to play for 8th anymore, this shows that management is continued down the same failed path they been spinning their tires on for the past 7 years. Enough is enough.
Assertion with little evidence.

Seriously man, everything you say is not based on any tangible evidence. And you didn't even freaking answer the question, LOL.

I can't wait til they sign some goons an Habaneros starts complaining how we don't have enough skilled players, and points to how Boston has so much skill depth.

Moen would be the only one standing in a fight ..White might hang in there ...

There big but alot of huggy bears...

There needs to be some mean ....Habs don't got that...

Im not talkin fighter goons either,,,Im talkin mean players, and if there mean action leads to something they can deal with it ...not hug.

and if he gets hurt in the 3rd what happens? You lose the possibility of a trade for a period? The question is if the deal was being worked on late afternoon then why the hell did the Habs even dress him

And yes, I love Subban, but he's making soft plays all the time.
Subban was so embarrasing last night. His turtling and ankle grambing was pathetic.

Fighting skill =/= toughness/softness, especially considering fighting has little bearing on a hockey game today.

Yeah that is pretty much my thoughts on it. I am not going to fly off the handle about a trade when neither main pieces have played with the other team yet. A lot of people were hating on Cole and he has been our best forward this year.

Bourque isn't mean? You know he was suspended twice recently for ridiculous hits right?

I know you're probably 14 but for god's sake. Bourque is a mean, dirty player. He's just coming off a suspension for elbowing on centre-ice. What the **** more do you want.

Sorry but your measures of toughness are stupid. Two years ago Bourque initiated 4 less hits than Ryan Kesler who I'm sure everyone will agree is tough as nails. He also throws as many hits as Alex Burrows who is also described as tough.

I thinking measuring toughness and gritty play by hits and fighting is completely stupid.

Is Bourque able to dive the net? Is he willing to stand in the dirty areas...will he go in the corners? Will he use his size to protect the puck? This is what is important.

Hard to get hurt when you don't go anywhere near physical play.. Not to mention Bourque is still suspended..

Not hard to get hurt against a team 12x bigger then us. If Gauthier knew all along a deal was being put in place and he was being traded last night he shouldn't have been in the lineup

There is the problem .

Too many stupid Hab fans expecting a player to be something he isnt .

Oh my Cammy doesn't hit....that is like complaining Lucian Bute isn't a good bowler./

Cammy's game isn't to hit...wake up..

That's where Habs failed them all...

Well if he is good at scoring goals, he isn't doing that either. Cammalleri from day 1 of THIS season has been useless. Sorry Habaneros but this was a good move

If you got jumped im sure youd be turtling also, Subban was getting punched in the face before he could even turn around, and his turtling also drew us a pp in which we scored on
