It's too hard for me to watch a game through-and-through, I get way too ansy. Have to be doing something. So maybe I am puttering around in the kitchen listening to the sound on television and if something gets Bob excited I come running back into the living room and its usually nothing.
That's for road games this year, since I have season tickets now I go to all the home games and watch the recording when I get home (unless its too late). I haven't seen the recording yet for the Dallas game, I am interested in getting the guys' takes on what I saw on the ice last night.
I have decided I am not going backwards...I have had such a blast going to the games I am going to renew for next year, and try to upgrade. Sure its expensive as hell and my budget really doesn't allow for it (thank God for credit cards), but I am not going to live forever and its one of the few things I really enjoy doing.
Wish I had done it sooner.
Although if the Kings make the playoffs I will want to go to the games, and that might just break my budget.
In regard to the road games, some are on way too early for me, I am still at work at 4 p.m. PST and I miss most of the game by the time I get home; maybe just in time for the third period or the end of the game. That sucks. In that case, I record it for entertainment value later.
Usually sitting about 5 feet from my TV. On the edge of my seat leaning even further into the TV with my back hunched over. I usually don't post on the boards during the game. Most games I'm watching are slightly delayed on DVR. I live on the east coast and get out of work at 11 pm. So I usually watch the game from the begging using the DVR so I stay away from here in order not to know the score.
