However, on the first line with Gabork. Richards would get 75-85 points.
You keep Richards on the 2nd line, the Rangers have two lines that can score. You thin out the other team's defense. Keep him on the 1st, sure, they put up more points...for a while before teams send out their shutdown unit against us, and the 2nd line (In all likelihood being Callahan, Dubinsky, Anisimov) downgrades.

There is no excuse as to this atrocious power play of ours. None! Even with a conservative figure, we should be no lower than a top 10 power play team. We have scorers, we definitely have a playmaker, there shouldn't be problems on that front.

I think Stepan should be moved to the 2nd line center spot with Cally and possibly Dubinsky. This would be a very good 2nd line and would enable this team to have balanced lines with also a GREAT first line with Richards and Gaborik

This would then put Richards on the first line and do what first line centers do by getting top 10-15 in the NHL in points. Richards is proven to do this.

With all that said.... these are some great debates to have in which many organization wish they had

Stepan Richards Gaborik

That's a real first line. It's worth another look, as is revisiting the pack line.

Like these lines a lot. Balance everywhere and the (2) stars are on the first line

I was at the game and thought there was no way the Sens could hold on when at the end of the 1st Rangers had 12 shots on compared to Ottawa's lowly 3, or something like that. And I think the 3 only came from the opening few minutes for the game anyway.

Anderson had a huge game and Karlsson, his passing is great.

Boyle I thought did well and was the most noticeable Rangers player for me. I was hoping King Henrik would have a better game although he made some awesome saves.

Did anyone see what was happening in the 100 section behind where the Rangers shoot twice? 2 female Sens fans in jerseys being called f***ing ****** throughout the game with some racist abuse thrown in too. It started during the national anthems (BOTH!) At one point I thought they were going to be attacked as it escalated in the 3rd. Never once seen anything like it at a hockey game and was very very shocked to see it directed towards women.

I remember seeing a Sens fan thrown out in the 300s too.

The regen of the gardens is going well. The seats in the 100s are very nice. And thanks for the other thread of NYC tips. It's been a while since I had an opportunity to be here.

I was the guy who got kicked out of the 300's after the 2nd goal lol funny you should mention that. Being a Senators fan in a Ranger crowd is great being that im from NY too its even better here is a short story of what happend.

1. After the 2nd Goal the Sens Scored I was chearing loudly and standing up clapping etc. The fans couldnt take it so they started shouting at me(Many Expelatives exchanged). Security ASKED ME to sit because i was quote ANTAGONIZING the crowd. I agreed.
2. A loud mouth ranger fan kept shouting told me to stand up again i was like come to me, i taunted him back making crying eyes motion. Security came up again and i said i started with him and told me i had to leave the building, in the process me and joey had some garbage thrown at us and chanting "a**hole" at us all in the 300 sections.
3. As we are walking down the kid is still shouting, We left to the right close to where he was sitting and i got to run up the stairs and go up to him but the guards grabbed me lol(knew that was gonna happen).(Crowd is still chanting ******* so why not) I proceed to wave my hands up and down to keep pissing the crowd off).
4. After we left I had the few Sens fans that were there who saw what happend said it was really great they saw what happened across the ice, asking what happened. Even the 4 much olders Sens fans in the skybox seats thought it was great.

Before the game started in the lobby also i was getting heckled so i shouted Rangers suck and another "A**hole" chant started. I loved it.

The Rangers fan sitting next to me was really cool and the security guard that escorted me out was really cool. He was like i know you wanna cheer and be loud but rangers fans there losing act like kids(used slang here).

That was probably the greatest hockey game ive been to.
