Guys, before the season started, there was talk that the Cage Aux Sports was moving out of the Bell Centre? Correct, or did they just renovate the place?

it was just a renovation. CAS even created an account here to refute the rumour at the time

Best Kebab in town ???

You kebab fan know what I'm talking about. There are not 2 same kebabs. By the taste of the meat and the freshness of the bread, we're all looking for the holy graal.

As i'll be in Montreal next month, I'm calling for some oriental experts to tell me where graal is.

I have exhausted my supply of tobacco shisha...i hate hate HATE the herbal stuff, burns up way too fast

all the places i used to buy from either stopped are are charging double or dumb prices like 50$ for 50g of tabaco...

I'm headed up to Montreal this weekend for 3 nights to see the Rangers & Senators games. Any suggestions for a decent steak restaurant?

Decent steak=baton rouge
good to very good steak=The Keg In the old port.
Great Steak=Méchant Boeuf is apparently very good for steaks. In the old port.

Great Thread, I'm looking for a restaurant before the game nothing fancy just has to be within walking distance to the Bell Centre. I went to Montreal a couple years ago for my first ever game, it was habs vs bruins on a sat night. stayed at the delta and walked up to the bell centre area thinking there's a load of rest in the area we should find one. Well we were shocked there were people everywhere there were linups outside restaurants, we had to turn and go back to the hotel and eat, couldn't get in anywhere. We didn't really care as we were just in town to see the game. This time i'm going up for a tues game vs the sabres and I wanna go to a rest before the game, any suggestions it doesn't have to be anything fancy just has to be around the bell centre area, should I try to make a reservation? Will there be less people kicking around cause it's a tuesday game vs sabres?

Ambiance, food and beer mostly. It will be so fun to buy my own liquor being 18, I won't have to get a friend to buy it -_-

My brother and I decided over the weekend that we want to attend an Isles road game this season. We debated over a few cities, and settled on Montreal! The hotel has been booked and tickets have been purchased.

I've skimmed through this thread and will do so again before we depart, but any quick suggestions for must do's while in Montreal?

Also, does anyone know which hotel the team would stay at while in town?

Thx

Going to Childish Gambino on Mar 25th, and then Bowerbirds on the 26th. So I have a whole day to burn, well probably more like a whole afternoon. Any ideas? (Cheap university student)

Can anyone fill me in On the festival of lumiere going on? We will be there next weekend. Worth checking out? We are a bunch of 30-40 year olds looking for places to eat good food and drink our faces off between games.

I'm going to the game tomorrow by car. What are some parking garages closest to the bell?

Bruins fan coming in peace

I'm taking a trip up the Montreal area later this year. So I need to ask ;

Where should I stay in the city?
Best places to eat? Any good clubs?
Anything else added would be great,

If I bring any Bruins gear, would that be suicide wearing it around?

Any areas around the city to watch out for (crime) ?

Thanks alot guys.
