Why would they trade for a player who is still serving a suspension, why not wait until the next game? I suppose there could have been some circumstances that forced the trade to happen then, but still; in the middle of the game?
Despite all the drama surrounding this team, Montreal will put up a good fight. They could haven beaten Boston the other day except for a lucky bounce in Boston's favour. Who will be in net for both teams?
There's a Toronto game on at the same time, I wouldn't bank on it.
I hope I can get off work an hour early, I really want to watch this game.
Too bad there's no Bourque. Bork bork bork bork bork.
This is so stupid. I get that the Leafs are popular across Canada. But this is a publicly funded company that has a mandate to broadcast for all Canadians, especially minorities.
When there's a game between two Canadian teams, I'm pretty sure it should get preference above the Leafs against a non-Canadian team.
I couldn't possibly agree more, especially when the Senators are so entertaining to watch right now. Even my Canucks fan friends are finding Ottawa games entertaining and they have no easily hateable players. Chris Neil as as close to one as you can find but he's one of the few "enforcer" types that has never been suspended which is a quick counter to an ill informed claim that he sucks.
It really sucks living in BC and being an Ottawa fan. I'm always working during their games and I find myself streaming the games over Team 1200 with my phone. It's kind of entertaining since none of the Team 1200 commercials ring a bell with me, they're all Ottawa/Kanata commercials for businesses I've never heard of. In all rightfulness I should be a Vancouver fan since I've never been to Ottawa, but I'll be god damned if I become a fan of that group of rats

They just got an extremely commanding victory over the league leaders 3-0 and are coming off wins against Philly as well as Pitts before that too so the drive from the Sens is there but can we stay consistent enough to not get over our heads and lose the games that we are supposed to win?
These wins are just as important as wins vs playoff teams.
