Stick Advice.

I was just wondering, what are some good sticks out there for the price range of $100-120. Any suggestions?

The Reebok Ai5 and Easton 65S are both really good from what I heard. You can also find a good number of Dolos on clearence now for that price range.

I personally buy clearance sticks, and have had good luck...
Honestly high end sticks have changed that much... Most have a single "lowish" kickpoint and are made of graphite and have a stiff blade.

I'd go with
Easton S19 (I've seen for 129)
Easton S19
Easton SE16
Easton ST
Warrior Dolomite, AK27
Bauer XXXX, One95
TPS R8

Or... You can get a pair of Synergy Elites, which are very simular to all current synergys (SE16 or even EQ50) for about 160 for a pair

Especially since they don't exist. A whole bunch of NHL Easton users use repainted SE16s and imo they're one of the better balanced top-end sticks out there with performance characteristics similar to the once-popular Synergy Elite SE sticks. Excellent puck feel on the SE16s too.

So unless you have something to back your claim, don't post junk like this.

Vapor x:60 is probably the "best" stick you can get for $~100 bucks.

To be honest, I haven't noticed any difference between x:60 and my old $30 stick.

True dat. SE16 is a great stick. They don't sell those to the public anymore though, do they? I thought the EQ50 replaced the SE16 in the lineup and the SE was discontinued.

You'll be hard pressed to find SE16s at the moment and you're right about the continuation. The entire Synergy namesake will soon be completely replaced by its spiritual successor, the Mako.

Easton S15's for about $100 on sale. Love them. Almost as light as the S19, but cheaper and have been very durable for me. I swear I dent the crossbar with these things

Easton 65S. Yeah the National sport around here has about 200 SE16's on clearance. Theres 5 nationals in one city where I lived and I'm assuming they shipped all the SE16's to one store too make room for other sticks because no other national has them.

@ r3cc0s: where are you finding these S19's is there a website? Is it Canadian?

I think the best new stick for $100 right now is the Graf G45. Its new and durability might still be in question, but its a very nice feeling stick, quite light and seems to have a lot going for it for the money.
