And by sucking I assume you mean setting records in Finland. He didn't get a chance because of his style, but once he did, he dominated. Are we talking about who had more NHL success 6 years ago now though?
Ha, uh, yeah. When you previously mentioned that Lundqvist was inconsistent, yeah, I'm going to mention 6 seasons of record setting goaltending. Hey, that sounds like your boy, record setting. I like that you're changing your tune after getting learned, rook. Lundqvist has carried sub par teams and he's done it with some impressive numbers. Now he has a team that learned their coaches system, got some chemistry, found a group of very good defenseman, and a forward corp that forechecks the hell out of the other team and they back him up with goals. How is that different that the Bruins over the last few seasons? It's not, and low and behold Lundqvist puts up numbers that rival Thomas'. If Thomas is on another level than Lundqvist, than he is hands down one of the best to ever play and head and shoulders the best today. That's a strong statement on a good day and just untrue any other. Get your head out of the clouds if you want to post on another team's board with fishing posts, or go back home.

Our old friend Alexander Frolov is has 10 goals and 8 assists in 41 games for Omsk. Seems he lacks motivation in the KHL as well.

The hawks PP looks so damn good. Purposeful movement, quick decisive actions.

Damnit, rangers watch this damn game.

The Hawks PP looks so damn good because they have 3-4 first line caliber forwards on the ice during it at any given time. The Rangers can't exactly match that.

Fair point.

However you don't need several 1st line caliber players to move around a PP do you? There are PPs around the league that very successful but aren't as star laden as the Hawks' is. (Montreal in past years, Preds currently).

Are we just missing a certain type of player on our PP or does the whole system need to redone?

Datsyuk 4 on 4 is simply unfair.

Franzen, Fippula and Zetterberg were great too.

Devils-Jets is not a good game. Cangelosi makes it worse.

Did anyone see that Zetterberg play in the 3rd period where he deked out like 3 Hawks and did a near-perfectly aimed slap shot? (but it hit the post). That's what makes hockey entertaining.

I could watch Zetterberg all day everyday.

I love how much Howard flops around in the crease, and the lack of urgency he has with his flopping

Kovalchuk played almost 9:30 of the 1st period.

Has DeBoer gone on record as to why he gets an absurd amount of ice time so early in games?

Well is he simply circling around the ice, lazily back checking and what not? If he is playing both sides of the ice, then to be fair to Deboer and Kovy, the man has unreal stamina. If he can handle it without breaking down, why shouldn't he do it?

Edit: I asked this a month ago but does anyone know wtf is going on with Paul Stastny? The guy was considered a #1 center (albeit perhaps a low end one) and a lock for 70 points. What has happened to that player?
