I would attribute attitude problems much more than the lockout.

The lockout didn't change the fact he hasn't played a full season in the NHL in like 10 years

Yeah, I know . I just pull for the little guys and I liked his style. He was also the flashiest thing that the Kings had until Palffy. Boy, that was a bad year.

Duthie actually announced it in the TSN pre-Olympic roster announcement show.

He mentioned that it was probably the worst day to tell people you've retired.
