So I did this to my glove...

I've been having problems with my pinky fingers getting torqued because of how my hockey gloves hold them out too far. It was getting so that my pinky knuckles would be swollen after every time I played.

So I connected the pinky and ring fingers together, and removed the fabric between them so that they can sit right next to each other. It is SO MUCH more comfortable and I didn't lose any range of motion by doing this.

Just thought I'd share!

Women always use the skills men don't have eh If that was happening to me I'd be excited cause that would mean a new pair of gloves. Women are problem solvers. And save $100 too, BTW good idea.

Live long and prosper. I've never had gloves that gave me issues with my fingers, are your gloves the right size?

Those are awesome! I would totally buy three-fingered gloves if they had them still! Thanks for those links!

Played tonight and it works so much better for me. I don't think different gloves would help...they would all make my pinky sit too far away to be happy. It likes being right up against my ring finger. It's just not big/strong enough on its own.

Like a lot of things, women's hands are built slightly different than men's hands. Men have longer (proportionally) ring and pinky fingers while women have longer index fingers. Since most gloves are built on a men's last, I can definitely see if you've got really small hands (and I know beth is built pretty small), that a women's small pinky would be forced into an awkward position by a bulky hockey glove.

I know I had a heck of a time finding gloves that fit right, but there's enough models out there that I eventually stumbled onto something I like.

Wow! Mcgyver would be proud I've had problems with my fingers too but I never thought to alter my gloves. I just tape the joints up.

That is quite cool. Would be interested to try it. Are those One75's?

One55's I think. Let me know if you want a how-to. It's a little tricky to sew, and I made it (a little) easier by taking a shortcut.
