ONCE. AGAIN.

He has been bad in the shootout. I don't know why this is even up for debate.

Our shooters have sucked too, but why do you keep deflecting this? Jesus.

neither is the record of our scorers. Same **** that ends up being Price's fault. Stops two great attempts (he drove Spezza high) and then one of the best in the game fins the 5 hole.

Anyway, great game by him and the team. Refs were awful but we could use a better PP. Hopefully Rene took it all in and knows what to do.

Go Pleks! What a game.

I agree. Let's stop dwelling on the could of, or should of. A point is a point, better than none.

Is that the PG who brought us Cole, our best forward so for this season?

People should give it a rest about PG.

Well it's not all of us but you're right. Most goalies on teams in the league's bottom 7 don't have numbers like he does. We're just abysmal in shootouts. 1-6? That has to be the worst mark of any team after their first 7 SOs in a year. There's never any offensive talent cultivated on this team. It's always been stressed about defense. Just wish we were allowed to see run and gun but alas, it's not gonna happen with this sad group of forwards.

regarding everyone about kaberle:

he's shot and scored multiple times for toronto in the shootout. looked silly tonight but is actually pretty slick typically

I guess they told Cunneyworth he could keep his job as assistant coach if he tanks. Kaberle?!

DD and Cole were unreal tonight, IMO.

Plekanec played well too.

Gomez was okay for two periods and putrid in the third.

Price was good.

Weber is better than Campoli and Gill, but not good enough to be an everyday Top-6 defenseman yet.

[QUOTE=Fish on The Sand;42502111]"Our team wasn't performing up to an acceptable level," Gauthier said. "For sure, there were injuries, but also the approach to games, especially the team's play in the third period, are things that affect the results.

"It was best to make a change. Sometimes in this business to make things better you need to make a change, to bring in new ideas, a new approach to the team's performance, so it becomes more consistent."
