Official Bears Thread #5 - Bears acquire Brandon Marshall

Other thread reached near 1K

Use this to discuss NFL playoffs if you would like as well as Bears

Tebow and Broncos are crashing back to earth. Pats put foot on neck of Broncos and aren't letting up

Tom Brady 18-25 246 yds 5 TD's / 1 INT

Tim Tebow 3-10 28 yds 1 fumble (Led to Pats TD)

Broncos D , Barber mistakes and a fluke kick (ONly happen in Denver) are why Bears lost

Not Tim Tebow

Forever?

I expect Tebow out of NFL within 5 years so no big deal

Seeing Rex Grossman playing in NFL and being reminded of SB loss is more haunting

I mark the denver game as the point I knew the bears weren't making the playoffs. IMO, it was more painful than that ATL loss like 4 years ago.

Its a joke that McDaniels is hired and coaching in this game less then 2 weeks after Rams season ended

NFL shouldn't allow that nonsense

Josh McDaniels was the Rams OC and he should not be allowed to jump onto Pats coaching staff for playoff run because he is out of job in St Louis

Tebow now 3-12 for 28 yds

Pats already at Broncos 33

Its 42-7 with 9:47 left in 3rd qtr and Brady is 1 TD away from NFL record

Make it 80 NE!

So all UFA's should be allowed to sign with other teams for playoff runs?

Don't think it works out that way with how player contracts are structured. Not sure though. Either way, I don't have a problem with coaches changing teams.

Down 35 pts and the Broncos elect to kick 41 yd FG instead of trying to score touchdown

Pats have a bunch of backups in defensively now and are no longer going for kill

Sad really this game had potential to break some records as far as points scored by a single team

I'm not sure what is more disappointing to me. The Bears being out of the playoffs or Tebowmania. Glad the Tebow run is over. Sorry that it lasted longer than the Bears. Man if Barber stayed on the field we would have kept them out of the playoffs. Uugh on a few levels.

Should we want Greenbay to win the Superbowl so they can draft last. Honestly, can the McCaskey family just hire Theo Epstein and throw the Ricketts family a million they are all about saving money. Plus maybe Ricketts will start thinking the Bears are for sale. I would love to see Epstein gut the entire Bears team.

This Bears team is for show. Blow it up already!!!

Why couldn't they have ****caned Dopey Smith and hired Harbaugh instead? The McCaskets are such a joke.

Harbaugh isn't doing much

All that talent was already in place ,, It was just poorly coached by Singletary and the 49ers play in NFC West

Bears would have ran away with division title ,, Any team good or above average would

Harbaugh is a big reason why they are as good as they are. He may not be the best when it comes to tactics and things like this, but he can motivate his players for sure.

He is not the best coach for sure, but many are worse. He is different than many others. Still would like Cowher as Smith replacement. He said he wants to come back
