At What Point Will Home Fans Boo Bryz?

Frustration seems to be growing. At what point do fans openly turn on Bryz? (For some reason I envision a Patrick Roy type moment as I type this.)

Boobies are phenomenal. But Bob doing a split is way sexier.

I think "Boobies!" needs to be a choice in the poll. It makes no sense in context, which makes it wonderful.

And it's what I would vote for.

Next home blowout. I REALLY hope it ends up being the last option though.

after a full season/playoffs of similar performances. i think thats pretty fair on my part.

i say give bryz more consecutive starts and after say 10-15 or so if he is still as bad as he has been then start riding Bob. of course by then the Flyers could be out of playoff position but honestly i prepared myself for the worst this past off-season. I think the way the team has played and the rookies have played has really shocked a lot of people but i'm sure most of the fans on here didn't expect a cup this yr or next (especially after pronger went down). ultimately if they don't make the playoffs this yr im ok cause i know this team has a real bright future w/ G, Schenn, JVR and Couts (and maybe a good prospect D-man, especially if they don't make the playoffs). I know its way too early to be talking about not making the playoffs but im just saying

I want to see Bryz have the chance to get hot but I don't want him to keep playing like crap and then Bob cool down. The way some teams in the East are playing we can't afford to lose too many games. You go 6-4 in ten games and start falling behind the pack.

I hear ya, that reason alone you play the hot hand, not a hunch. Bryz is better than this (i hope) but Bob is winning now.

problem with playing bryz a bunch in arow hoping to break his funk. is if it doesnt work, and costs us the playoff slot for this season. then it also costs every other person on the team including all the hard working rookies their chance to compete for the SC this season.

and to me thats not fair to everyone else just to appease Bryz's needs...

plus what would it do to the lockerroom if Bryz cost the team even the chance to play in the post season

sorry but i say run with whos working/winning.

No, he'll apparently just get sadder and worse.

What's the point really.....pretty counterproductive although I know it's not supposed to be a rational reaction. I'm annoyed no doubt but since the dude seems pretty fragile already not sure the fans should pile on in that way but then again fans are contributing to his salary and they want to see at least somebody who cares in net instead of somebody who in interviews waves his hands in the air like he just doesn't care and says there is nothing he can do.....obviously he is frustrated but just a poor choice of words.

I started booing him after he lost us that game in Colorado.

You know that game when the fwds and D went into beats mode and Danny B scored with secs left in the game.

Then Bryz pretty much just stood there for every SO attempt, hardly moved and didn't save a single one?

Yeah, I had enough after that crap.

Flyers fans booed Paul Coffey. They booed Eric Lindros. They booed John Vanbiesbrouck.

They booed Eric Desjardins every time he touched the puck when he was playing with one ACL.

Seems likely that they'll get around to Bryz.

That's like, the worst game to start booing him. He had a fantastic game and neither goalie played well in the shoot out. Personally I'm getting sick of his attitude and may have to reconsider "he WILL get better"

Agreed!

Hearing lots of people say, he is used to starting most games so we need to let him start ten games or so in a row - but that would be undeserved. Maybe elsewhere he has been used to starts just being handed to him, but he isn't performing well enough here - so he should start getting used to earning his work. You would be completely undermining the effort of everyone else if you let him start ten straight - regardless of performance - and he blew it.
