Nope. The new home gold and the hat are now in the win column!

I don't think we even have one. I think the longest we've had a line stay the same was like 3 days.

Well, good. I shelved mine awhile back for home games, but I might wear it to an away game. It shows up so obnoxiously in a sea of dark jerseys.

before a week ago we stuck with this pretty consistently:

smith - legwand - erat
hornqvist - fisher - kostitsyn
tootoo - spaling - wilson
halishuk - smithson - bourque/geoffrion

now:

wilson - legwand - hornqvist
erat - fisher - kostitsyn
tootoo - spaling - borque
halishuk - smith - bourque/smithson

d pairings have been consistently like this since Ellis' call up:

Weber - Suter
Klein - Josi
Ellis - Boullion

Any word on why Smithson has been out of the lineup the last bunch of games? Not that I'm complaining.

No, but Trotz said last night that he would travel with the team to NY, but would not likely play on the trip. Smith's condition was going to be re-evaluated in the AM and a decision would be made on his status for the trip. Smith was sent home yesterday before the morning skate (cold/flu).

Question about the game last night, so after we win and everyone is still in the stands some music came on and everyone seemed to throw thier hands in the air and the music stopped...and then came back on. We have a new cheer I am too old and unhip to recognize?

I think the most IMPORTANT lyrics come next: The "All I do is win..." part. ;-)

I guess most nights we would rather have Smithson than Mcgrattan but we sure don't seem to have missed smithers all that much

I agree. I thnk Mcgratton does well for what he is. I kinda wish Mueller would have potted one and maybe forced trotz to go with Mueller, Hali and smith as a 4th line. They are one half decent guy from being a reliable line with a chance to score every shift. Just imagine if Smithson had hands of stale play-doh instead of stone.

mcgrattan is about as good as it gets for a TRUE enforcer.. if we want a true tough guy on our team, re-sign him.. otherwise roll without a true enforcer like 80% of the league.. and smithson .. gosh I really don't care for him. I understand the "intangibles" he brings and he has a very minimum salary.. but all I heard was he is great on the PK.. well our PK is 20th and we have a plethora of PK-ing forwards.. I really would like to see him gone after his current contract

I guess Ryan Ellis really IS a human rocket ship....he tried to launch Simmonds to the moon!

Quality, solid, character win. Shutout the Giroux/Jagr/Hartnell line!

Very clean game as well. I really thought there would be more hitting in the game.

Still miss Hartnell. And as a Pens fan I still like Jagr (it hurt when he went to Philly but I still like him). But it was pretty damn awesome to see Weber knock both of them on their ass with heavy hits!
