Exactly, its not that Bryz is getting more weird deflections than any other goalie, he is just letting more of them go in the net.

You realize that people are whining about the team with the most non-shootout wins in hockey? Kind of what irritates some of us. The act that the Flyers are terrible and have nothing going right, when in reality they are one of the best teams in the entire league. A few Flyers are slumping for sure, but that is true in 30 locker rooms.

flyers were one of the best teams before WC, now they are as Bryz would say lost in the woods

Still have as many or more ROW as every team in the NHL.

You don't judge based on the last 2-3 games.

seriously

people are still using wins to argue how good a goalie is?

let's just completely ignore the fact that his individual stats are awful and we've won most games by scoring more than 3 goals

he played well vs Nashville. they signed him for 9 / 51. he needs to play. a lot. and get judged at season's end.

Flyers are 7th overall in the league. If they would have won last night, they would have been tied for 3rd in the league.

Shootout wins aren't predictive of playoff success.

He is 17th in games played. So it's not like he is not getting ice time.

He played well vs Nashville but he was outplayed by Rinne. He played well vs Sens but was outplayed by Anderson. It's not about playing well it's about winning a freaking game and making saves. Bailing yout team out. This is why we got him. Dude, statistically he is not even top 40 goal in the league.

i will say this, the law of averages would say that eventually some of these "flukey" deflections and goals would not go in bc he'd be in the right place at the right time. he hasn't even accidently stopped a crazy bounce or wonky hop. they all go in, at least one a game. i've been a bryz defender(just not him running his mouth) and i'm starting to wonder if its bad luck or something more...

That's the most frustrating thing.
