Haha, I'm not talking about THE BEST.

In terms of accuracy, Matt Schaub is the best. In fact, that's a general consesus among the majority of analysts.

So yeah, I don't know what you're talking about.

Schaub was 13th in the NFL in completion % this year. (behind Brees, Rodgers, Romo, Brady, Stafford, Rivers, etc...)
He was 8th in 2010. (behind guys like Brees, Manning, Rivers, Brady, and Rodgers
4th in 2009. (behind Brees, Manning, and Favre)

Yes, the guy is accurate, no one is debating that. He's a good QB. I like him. But to say hes the most accurate when he's never been in the top-3, and other names have CONSISTENTLY been ahead of him year after year, that's a pretty ballsy statement to make.

I'd even consider moving him up if he had bad receivers or something that were skewing his completion percentages with dropped passes, but the guy throws to Andre Freaking Johnson.

There's no shame in being in the top-5 most accurate passers in the NFL. He doesn't have to be THE guy in order to be a good QB.

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU EVEN BROUGHT UP JOHNSON.

Just trust me, all the guys on ESPN said this last year. Up until THIS YEAR, he had ONE OF THE WORST OFFENSIVE LINES IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL. IN THE HISTORY.

Also, Andre Johnson has been injured OR playing injured for the most of his time as a Houston Texan. And name me a competent #2 receiver that the Texans have had. It's a lot harder to throw to Johnson when he is in Double or Triple Coverage, but lets face it, teams are not intimidated by the almighty Kevin Walter.

Schaub was voted the most underrated QB in the league awhile back, no doubt his accuracy being his best trait.

I don't think anyone is arguing that Schaub is an underrated quarterback but saying he's on the same level as Brees, Manning, Brady or Rodgers is a little bit outrageous at this point even when taking their supporting cast into account. He has a lot to prove before he gets thrown into that group.

For my money, Brees is the most accurate quarterback I've ever seen play the game. The guy is one of the greatest of all time.

Why? The guy is pretty much the most skilled receiver in the league.

I trust you. That O-line was pretty atrocious.

When you say "his time as a Houston Texan", do you mean his entire NFL career? He's only played for Houston.

And no, he's had a fairly healthy career. He missed a good chink of this year, yes... but the guy has played at least 13 games in every year but two in his 9 year career. He's had 5 1000+ yard receiving seasons. Why WOULDN'T I bring up Johnson? The guy has the potential to be a Hall of Fame receiver. I'm sorry, but he's in the discussion.

Yeah, Kevin Walter isn't exactly Super Threat 3000 out there on the field. My point was, I'd cut a QB some slack if they had NO good receiving options, but the Texans have ALWAYS had at least one legit-every-year-Pro-Bowl WR on the roster. I'm not saying Schaub is the product of Johnson, or vice-versa. In fact, that was my point: the WR corps has never been so bad as to be a detriment to Schaub, nor so good that you could say the receivers are a direct result of Schaub's great numbers.

Totally agree with both points. I don't know how being underrated AND accurate means you are THE MOST accurate, though.

AGAIN, I think Schaub is one of the top-5 most accurate passers in the league. I just don't think he is THE most accurate. Not sure why it's such an issue.

For sure, Johnson has to be included. I think he's a lock for the hall of fame, but every week he seems to be QDP (Questionable, Doubtful, or Probable). This year, I think Brees has certainly established himself there, but I still think Schaub is right there. I think if the stars aligned the way they HAD for the Saints, him and Brees could put up similar numbers.

Ugh, Packers looked rusty all half.

This is what I was most worried about. Giants are playing like a beatable team (because they absolutely are beatable, that much is clear), but full credit to their game so far. They're playing good football so far.

As I've stated before, the G-men always bring it at Lambeau in the playoffs.

I was expecting the Giants to win this one....just not by over 2 TD's. Great win by the G-men nonetheless.....bring on the 49ers

I still stand by my Giants-Ravens Superbowl prediction(although another NY-NE match would be quite epic).

oh ya....eat crow sensjersey11

Do you know how frustrating it is to be a fan of the teams that I am?

Sens always get flack from Leafs and Habs fans.
Raptors (not a fan anymore tbh) just suck.
Blue Jay is synonymous with mediocrity.
Texans made their first playoffs this year after being the laughing stock of the NFL for a decade.
