We've been playing a little iffy for awhile. I guess the fact that we still won 6 out of 7 in the process is great right?

Seriously, what is wrong with Lundqvist in Montreal? I needed a shutout badly in my pool, but instead I have a GAA of 4.

PP, faceoffs, and scoring the first goal are indications lately of how the Rangers have been playing.

Mental.

This is why I wanted Biron to get the start tonight. Hank

Nice cross-ice pass, Richie. Come on, you know better than that.

Richards, I like your thinking, but they're not letting the puck go wing to wing tonight

First it was all Gaborik needs is a real center , now it's all Richards needs a LW .NYR have overachieved and are having a poor road trip two stinkers sandwiched between a physical dominance . I think in the second half we come back to earth a bit and the fairytale is over not because we have a couple bad games on a Canadian road trip but because we still have no PP or any consistent scoring threats .

Henrik. Biron. Froese. Hanlon. Eddie.

Just get over it, guys. The old Ghosts of the Forum exist. Chalk it as a loss the day before and get ready for the following game.

Richter in 1996 was the lone excetion

I think that answers your question.
Gaborik deserves to get thrown under the bus every game

Here is what I got so far this period...

18:30 - 17:00
Missed hard pass from D that goes down ice (icing waved off)
Takes pass from D, skates to blueline and dumps in behind net. MTL scoops up puck and has easy breakout. MTL pressures around net w/ Gabby standing around blueline watching.

15:10 - 14:00
Skates puck into zone, regains possession but Subban outmuscles him and takes puck. Rangers get puck into zone again and Gaborik makes good cycle pass to Stepan down low.

lol chill. We always suck against MTL in MTL. I'm not worried one bit just like I wasn't when we lost against the Sens.

It's like you people expect us to win EVERY single game this season lol

Gaborik shift 3...
11:10-10:25
Skates puck into zone with good speed. Gorges cuts him off and takes puck away and out of danger.

Typical HF response. If you disagree with somebody, start going after their "knowledge of the game."

I've watched, studied and played the game for a good chunk of my life, so yeah, I understand it quite well.

Listen, I'm not saying Gaborik doesn't deserve criticism, but he's not the only one on this team who deserves it, and to put it all on him is foolish.

As I said earlier, Callahan certainly deserves some. At this point in his career, he's expected to produce on a consisent basis, which he hasn't done lately. Richards who I love, has not been great as of late. He NEEDS to be better.

Montreal always plays a very creative and freewheeling offensive style. They just look natural out there, no real setup, things just flow.

That's what I see every time we play them, but I stay optimistic and think this game will be different. It never is, though

Like German Way of War said, it just seems to be one of those universal truths...Rangers don't win in Montreal.

Can't beat Budaj, can't beat Montreal.

What a damper after such a fantastic Giants win.

Oh right there's hockey on tonight. I guess it's a good thing I chose to totally ignore this game until now. Bad?
