Even when he doesn't score he's amazing and that's what counts the most imo.

Great pick up by Gauthier after being heavily criticized by the media and some fans that "Cole couldn't produce without Staal."

Gauthier is clueless.
Some random guy on the internet would do a far better job, because he won the cup with his NHL 12 team.
But yeah, easily our best forward this year. So consistent.

Getting rid of Cam seems like it was good idea as well. Heck, this might balance out in the end. Kaberle trade is looking worse by the day.

He just comes to work every single night. That is saying alot considering the style of game he plays. In a miserable season, he's been a bright light.

Kaberle needed a lot of time to adjust in Boston, he became solid in the final. So we can hope that with time he'll adapt and become the player he was in Toronto.

HFboards can't go 13 posts without creepy negativity oozing out of the woodwork.
Cole has nothing to do with the Kaberle trade, what the **** is the point of bringing it up??
Cole is a great player and plays to the limits of his ability. Great player, we're lucky to have him.

I'm surprised nobody is talking about Sergei Kostitsyn and O'byrne.

But but, we should have shipped him out at the beginning of the season like everyone wanted!
Always liked him, great teammate and a great player that gives his best effort every shift.

Just wanted to point out that it is PG who acquired Cole. But yeah, doesn't matter, he sucks (because not all his moves have been instant homeruns), fire him!

yes fire him
we don't need size at all
we must be soft and small
that's how you win

Since the sarcasm indicates that you think the opposite of that post, my guess is Gauthier would agree with you.
Drafts Tinordi 6'6
Trades for Eller(6'2) and Schultz(6'2) and specifically cites that he did so because the habs needed size and that Schultz brings a unique element.
Acquires Cole (6'2)
Trades Russell(small forward) for Blunden (6'4)
Trades Cammalleri(Small forward) for Bourque (6'2)
Brings in Emelin (6'2)
