I hear he eats babies.

But it's just what I hear, I'm not speculating.

Tony is full of hot air.

Thinks he could run a team.

Thinks he knows more than anyone else.

I turn the channel off when I hear his smug voice.

Speaking of which, I just discovered 101.5 FM - what the hell is up with the greatness of that station??

I used to like him.

He is so full of himself.

He blocked me on twitter just for debating with him and providing facts contradicting his statement.

I know he does... but only when it's part of a free meal he got by plugging some restaurant on his show

Looks like not only is Tony full of himself, but he's also a child, blocks everyone with a dissenting opinion.

Definitely the kind of kid that when he was going to get beat up afterschool, went out the other door and faked sick for 3 days...

I've only heard the guy speak once in my life and it was the night of the Cammy trade. I put on TSN 990 after Habs-Bruins game to find out details of the trade. Marinaro was bashing the trade long before we even knew who was involved in the trade. Once he found out Bourque was involved, he went right after the term of Bourque's contract (even though Bourque's contract is in line with his play/production unlike Cammy's contract). It was extremely painful to listen to. It didn't matter who the Habs landed, he was going to bash the trade no matter what.

Marinaro left a very poor first impression with me and I hope I never have to listen to him again. After reading this thread, he sounds like a very insecure know-it-all who thinks he's always right and can't take it if someone's research proves him wrong (twitter blocks, not letting callers speak etc). People like that just aren't happy with their lot in life. We should really just feel sorry for the miserable goof.

Throw me into blocked on twitter by tony.

Everyone who tweets him with something that doesn't agree with him 100% is blocked by tony on twitter.

The guy is worse than Alan Walsh.

Add me to the blocked list.

He blocked my buddy on twitter because he included a swear in his tweet to Tony so I called him a ***** on twitter and he blocked me too.

Worst thing is he always bribes about how he's 50% but he's never ever got a right pick.. You need to get all the picks right to win in mise au jeu and from what I've seen he never has but still brags about it!

Talk to any of us on Twitter, you will find we are blocked cause (a) we have an opinion and (b) Mariano hates to be shown he is wrong, or has no credibility!

He is pathetic, and a poor, poor radio personality!!!

I am dumbfounded that TSN has him on their Radio Network.

Are you a child?

I have a dissenting opinion with you on almost everything. And you made sure to tell me that I am on your ignore list.

Do you see a difference between Tony and yourself?

Carry on!!!!

Tony is very popular amongst the italian and greek community, especially the 30-40 age bracket.

Even still, I don't get why you guys are so sensitive about him and why his comments piss you off that much...

I listen to 990 when I'm in the car, and the only time I get annoyed is if Randy Tieman is on...

Randy: '' Oh come ON... I mean... COME ON.....I mean, REALLYY.. I mean COME ON'' ... God damn , that guy is empty... Nice, but dumb as rocks.

I like Marinaro because I find the stupidity of what he says and his callers to be pretty damn funny! Some of ''Youz'' need to chill out , a bit.

I like listening to Tony. His show is dumb, mindless entertainment. It kills 20 minutes while walking to work in the mornings.
