Counting his three-game NHL suspension, this guy has earned three suspensions this season, all in the past two months. Two separate boarding incidents in back-to-back games leads to two separate suspensions. Does the AHL take the weekends off? He got a boarding major on Saturday night, then he boarded someone again on Sunday badly enough to earn a second suspension.
The league should really take a complete lack of discipline and blatant disregard for player safety more seriously.

Deveaux is a multiple time offender. Don't know the actual numbers, but I'm willing to bet he's the most frequently suspended AHL player over the last five seasons, along with Tim Conboy.
As far as the AHL taking the weekends off, pretty much. Suspensions usually get handed out Monday or Tuesday when the league receives the game tape and reviews it. Sometimes, that has to come at the suggestion of the opposing team asking for supplimental discipline. Now if a player gets a match penalty, he cannot play the next game until the incident is reviewed.
