All the sudden, the Preds think the first period ended already.

Should be 6-0 right now, which would alleviate any fears I have about this game.
We quit skating at the end of the first and started giving up good chances to the Islanders. That's gotta stop if we want to hang on to this lead.

Overall, great period. Lets see if we can have some "skate to the throat" mentality and finish this thing.

I've given Sk a fare amount of flack for his soft play, but he's had a couple good games in a row now. Good solid wrister to start the game off, and a hard stick on the PK to clear the zone. I think I even saw him throw a hit, it could have been mirage however.

I'm still kind of worried about this game. Mainly because Nick Spaling hasn't scored yet...

Wow, it's great to wake up and see a 3-0 lead. Too bad I missed all of the goals.

I can't believe Borque missed that wide open net. Should be at least 5-0 right now as we should have scored on the 3 shots from point-blank too.

Franky B missed an open net, he has the worst hands on the team. Then Weber claims another victim

Shea Weber claims another victim. He's lucky if he didn't break his foot.

Big blocks by Weber and Spaling, big save by Rinne and good play by Bourque. That's textbook.
