because he caused a scoring chance for Ottawa and cowen was shutting them down against Ottawa.

Karlsson was also on the ice for last minute against Philly and couple others.

He wasn't even the reason why they scored. Michalek never got to Pac on time.

Greening also didn't get across fast enough.

Not to mention, Spezza almost had the puck in the neutral zone with the net empty but it rolled away.

Just a series of missed plays and bad luck.

No I know...but if there was some way we could acquire Kane...that would be amazing. Kane would be the perfect fit for our team right now.

I remember after the game they showed a clip of Alfie being one of the stars of the game and during the 3 stars he actually came out and saluted the crowd. I thought players from the away team never comes out to salute the crowd if they were chosen as one of the 3 stars of the game?

I've seen it a few times at SBP.

It's rare though.

Did Montreal have any stars for the game? They may have wanted to have someone go out.

Maybe he was trolling MTL's crowd?

Back in the 70's and 80's, opposite players used to go if I remember well.

No I think it was Alfie, Spez and Anderson in that order. Maybe that's why they needed someone to come out.
