I just randomly thought of this, so bear with me...

Players we should trade:
Andrei Kostitsyn
Hal Gill
Scott Gomez
Chris Campoli
Tomas Plekanec
Mathieu Darche
Yannick Weber

Players we should target:
Patrice Bergeron - Boston
Charlie Coyle (prospect) - Minnesota
Eric Staal - Carolina
Johan Franzen - Detroit
Alex Edler - Vancouver

P.S. The player to target are just a list of choices, I'm NOT saying that we should try to acquire all of them, but if we were going to make more trades, we should try to acquire someone from that list

+infinity

they are very similar players....I like them both, but I would pick Pleks before Bergeron. And Career +/- Bergeron had been basically an even until last season and this season, so, are those numbers a result of an amazing step forward in his potential....or of the team he is on? (he says as we all know the answer)

on the main board i've create a proposal for Boby Ryan me and some Ducks fans came to an agreement

Bobby Ryan [5.100]
Toni Lydman [3.000]
Patric Maroon (prospect)
[8.100]

Vs

Thomas Plekanec [5.000]
Pernel-Karl Subban [0.875 : rfa]
Weber [0.850]
[6.725]

sure it's not Getzlaf but preparing the Tank for a young superstars : Grigorenko ! here is my 2012-13 team :

first line
[6.975]

Cole - Desharnais - Pacioretty
(6f02 205lbs)- (5f07 177lbs) - (6f01 203lbs)
[4.500] - [0.850] - [1.625]

Those 3 are the Molson Star line

second line
[11.100]

Ryan - Eller - Kostitsyn

(6f02 218lbs)- (6f00 198lbs) - (6f00 205lbs)
[5.100] - [2.000]*3years - [4.000]*4years

A real chance for our 2 young good players to became legit top 6 players with a big man to bolster their game.

Third line
[12.038]

Gionta - Grigorenko - Bourque

(5f07 175lbs)-(6f02 191lbs)-(6f02 205lbs)
[5.000] - [3.975]*3 years - [3.063]

Defensivly good and all around scoring touch with a top drafted rookie

fourth line
[3.570]

Moen - Leblanc - Blunden

(6f02 215lbs) - (6f00 178lbs)(6f03 207lbs)
[1.750][1.170][0.650]

a great check line who can be good in defensive too

attack : 33.863

Lydman - Gorges
(6f01 202lbs) - (6f01 190lbs)
[3.000] - [3.900]

a good combination of pass and great defensive

Kaberle - Emelin
(6f01 214lbs) - (6f00 187lbs)
[4.250] - [1.750]*3 years

Ka-boom

Markov - Diaz
(6f00 204)- (5f11 194lbs)
[5.750] - [1.250]*2 years

The General rebuilding is confidence with a good defenseman who is fitting more and more into the american mold system of hockey

St-Denis - Beaulieu
(5f11 190lbs)- (6f03 191lbs)
[0.605] - [0.900]

Kids to take place into the roster. Beaulieu can e replaced by Nash or other prospect in Hamilton

defence : 21.605

Price - Budaj
[7.000]*10 years - [1.150]

Goalie : 8.150

Team : 63.618

I really don't think Stastny is anything more than he has shown for the past 2 years.
I totally agree with that. Plus he has an injury history. Actually this rumor is addressed here:

Pretty sure the main reason Ducks fan are in aggreement is because they aren't the ones getting shafted here. That's just terrible.

Edit: I also don't want Beaulieu anywhere near the NHL till 2013-2014 (callup like Leblanc had this year excluded)

And no way should Leblanc be centering a fourth line, that goes for the center part AND for the fourth line part. He'll probably be on Eller's wing next year on the 3rd/2b line.

Edit 2: Why do we want Patrick Maroon????

Kassian would be awesome as would Gaustad. Some players I would like to see would be C. Stewart, R. Getzlaf, B. Ryan, F. Beauchemin, B. Eager and T. Peckham.

From what Buffalo fan has been saying, I'd suspect that Gaustad is available.

Yeah I have seen trace elements that might suggest the sabres would listen to Gaustad offers. I would not mind adding him to our team at all...I also would like to shore up the D with size/grit etc to police/protect our wealth of puck moving D...Also with Gionta's salary off the books with LTIR status, I would not mind adding a forward as well, Vermette? Brassard? Depends who else is available...
Lastly I would not be so hasty to trade moen or ak46, but indeed campoli is a prime trade bait candidate

As much as I'd love to acquire Ryan, I think the idea that we can afford to trade our #1 dman is very wrong. No matter who we have up front, I can't see a D led by Lydman-Gorges making the playoffs.

Montreal TB Trade

Tampa needs a goalie and wants to shed Vinny's salary

Montreal doesn't want to pay Price 7M and needs to shed Gomez

Gomez and Vinny make similar contracts and put up similar pts. Vinny being French is a big plus for Habs fans. And Gomez needs a change of scenery or fans need a change of scenery from Gomez.

What would be a good deal for these 2 teams???

Price
Gomez

for

Vinny
Brewer
Purcell

TB gets there goalie and a comparable fwd.

Mtl gets Vinny, Solidifies their d with Brewer and Purcell a young scoring fwd.

One of hte worst trade proposals I've ever seen. And a very misleading title.

facepalm. I can't believe an Eklundesque rumor that has been denied countless times gets held up as truth by so many people. (Price's contract discussions.) Get real, people.

I also shake my head at the willingness to trade Price without realizing how it would severely set the team back.

Terrible, simply terrible.

BTW, Price's own agent denied that the 7 mil offer was on the table, it was crazy rumour that was ruled out the same day.

That's a pretty steep price. I'd say its fair, but I don't think the Ducks really want to move Getzlaf.

They'd think about it at least twice ! Two top 10 picks this year, a very good center under a reasonable contract plus a blue chip prospect. Perfect trade for a rebuilding teamlike anaheim, and as a Habs fan i would be absolutely thrill..

Leblanc-Getzlaf-Kosty
Bourque-Eller-gionta
Patch-Desharnais-cole
Moen-White-blunden

If it's a too steep price drop the picks and i still do it...

Prefer develloping our own center (Galchenyuk ) if we give too much for a Getzlaf, by the time we've managed to rebuild our depth and surround him right he'll be past his prime. Not that Getzlaf isn't awesome but those trades for big name players never actually work in real life except if you find a way to send scrap for them (see: Joe T. to SJ).
