No more Yanic?

After a "heated" exchange of words with Julien, he was pulled from the lineup tonight to make room for Saku (as already noted in another post)...

My question is... Are we about to see the last of him? Trade rumors have been hot lately, maybe he's on his way out?

Not trying to shake anything up here... just wondering if anyone's heard or read anything.

who wants him anyway??? He's slow, small, not creative, overpaid and the list goes on. You know, that's the kind of UFA singing that I'm against. How about singing a veteran that works hard and CAN play a role.

Well he is certanly not a Gainey-type player. He could go. With is last of contract I could some teams interreste like ATL with Savard out but can't really expect something to help in return.

The reason is out is to play Koivu and show McPhee that Koivu can play. Koivu and Brisebois will be traded to Washington as per Jagr's personal trainer comments. Hope is not gonna happen though...

I think it is more likely that the argument went something like this:

Julien: Hey Yanic did you hear Koivu may be playing tonight?

Perrault : Yeah, too bad for Ribeiro, eh?

Julien: Hum... I don't think it's a good idea to sit him, considering he needs all the confidence he can get...

Perrault: Well who's sitting then?

Julien: If Juneau can play, it will have to be you...

Perrault: What! I'm playing for a contract this year! You can't do this to ME!!!

Julien: Yes I can! It's my TEAM!!!

Perrault: I HAVE MORE GOALS THAN ANYONE ELSE ON THE TEAM!!!

Julien: THAT'S NOT SAYING MUCH CONSIDERING SOURAY HAS AS MANY GOALS AS YOU!!!

Perrault: YOU SUCK!!!

Julien: NO, YOU DO!!! THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!!

Trade 70Pts guy, with heart for a 80 Pts guy, whose girlfriend stole his heart.

I have to agree with that. Make no sens to try to improve our offense by giving our #1 centre. Someone has to play with Jarg. A first line of Zed-Koivu-Jarg would be nice, no?

Exactly. What's the use is trading for an uninspired player, only to surround him with players that are similiar in the "heart" department.

Trading for Jagr, and playing him with Ribeiro or Perreault would be utterly useless.

I hope we don't get Jagr.

Another heartless bum that only follows his own rules is not what Montreal needs. Especially at $11M/year for 5 years!!!

You mean like Mckay Perreault may be soft and poor defensivly, but he can put the puck in the net. You make him sound like he isn't even a legit nhler.

Perreault : You don't have a wife ?

Julien : No

Perreault : Sometimes, are you masturbating yourself ?

Julien : Yes

Perreault : Do you want a prostitute in your bed when we come back to Montreal ?

Julien : Audette is fine, but I don't say no. Bring me something good and you play tomorrow night.

Perreault : Thanks coach
